This thread really caught my eye because I use to feel like I knew a lot of people and now I feel like I don't know anyone and nobody knows me. I think that's why I mostly read and don't post anymore, because I'm always thinking "does this person even recognize my name or care what I have to say?".

Oh, I totally do that, I am such a "profiler." I scan down the board and look for names I know and respect - either as the thread originator or the most recent responder - and I hit those threads first.

There are also some really distinctive "looks" - for example, I know you, Snoopy, Maleficent13, ead79, Blueeyes101817, EsmeraldaX on sight - I know DWhittles has the cute baby - everyone knows Deb in IA's picture - Lisa Loves Pooh standing outside her house - Crankyshank - remember Ray's old rainbow-colored posts? - Pam - I remember BambyTamby's cheerleader - and Beauty + hubby hugging in front of some exceptionally lovely Southern panorama. And there are lots of others. Heck, I've had my disco ball and tiger for years now, maybe people even recognize that now.
