I know you...

There is usually at least one thing I recognize about the poster, but it's not always the same thing...sometimes it's the user name, sometimes it's the photos/clipart, and sometimes it's even the tag!

I try to remember as many people as possible -- but hey, half the time I can't even remember where I parked!

PAW - I recognize you and think I have a fairly good idea "who you are" since I was a DB regular.

Most of the people I "know" are DB people, and the people who posted politically pre-election. Everyone wore their hearts on their sleeves.

There are a few people I can't help but always associate with one thread in particular they posted on (different ones for different people). I hate that, because I know there is so much more to a person than their view on one particular topic, or one event they might describe. But some of those things just stick with me and that will be the first thing that pops into my head when I see their name (won't mention specifics, since a few of you have already posted on this thread.)

This thread really caught my eye because I use to feel like I knew a lot of people and now I feel like I don't know anyone and nobody knows me. I think that's why I mostly read and don't post anymore, because I'm always thinking "does this person even recognize my name or care what I have to say?".

Please continue to post, we can only get to 'know' those who post! I care what you have to say, Erika! But, I understand what you are saying, there is such a large group here it's hard not to feel your voice gets lost in the crowd sometimes.

When the Debate board closed, I felt sort of lost here, because I felt like I only 'knew' a few people....but being the outspoken type, I just jumped in and took my chances.

I find myself recognizing a signature long before I remember the user name. I was talking to Dan one time and he was talking about a specific person and I could NOT place them. Once he mentioned what they had in their signature, I knew exactly who he was referring to! I also don't pay attention to tags.....don't ask me who's moderating the place now!!

Aw thanks Starwberry Lemonade...I could never forget your screenname. The very first time I really noticed your screen name, I was actually drinking strawberry lemonade (Smuckers is the brand, i think). I get it at Sams Club, yummy stuff! I probably read your posts before that, but I guess it just stuck out to me as kinda ironic...
