Do you really like a restaurant that seems unpopular on the DIS?

i also didn't like the flying fish, or chefs de france. :p

we do like fulton's and rainforest cafe, the latter so much so that we go to the rfc here in dc all the time. :)

San Angel Inn and Sci Fi are two of my most favorite places. I also love Coral Reef. I'm big on atmosphere at my Disney restaurants. I can eat a "good, reasonably priced meal" at home. I can't eat in front of a 5 million gallon acquarium!! Or at an air conditioned drive in theater where there are no mosquitos...

We like the Backlot at MGM. They have a Tuna Crossont that has always been tasty and fresh on our last three visits. we also like the Themeing.
Near Indiana Jones

We always have great food and great service at San Angel Inn and Le Cellier.

While I havent eaten at Alfredos since my honeymoon, 8 years ago, I remember we really enjoyed it. I also like Mama Melrose.
Tonys on the other hand...ick! And that seems to get great reviews here.

I enjoyed eating at Tony's and it usually doesn't get consistent reviews. Our waiter was one of the best we had on our last trip.

I like eating at Sci-Fi for the atmosphere.

Whispering Canyon Cafe gets mixed reviews, too. I liked the food. I probably won't go back because it was way too noisy for me.

We've eaten at RFC Downtown twice. The food & service were really good both times. For counter service, Pizza Planet at the Studios seems to get pretty mixed review-but we've always found the pizza/salad combo to be very good.

I'm another one that likes the Rainforest Cafe. I really like the atmosphere:) It does seem to get some bad reviews here though. The food is just fine for what it is.

We like RFC, Sci Fi and Donald's Breakfastasaurus has been getting a bad rap on these boards lately. They're all favorites of ours.

We like Fulton's , I agree about Rainforest we have eaten at ones in Chicago & Vegas we just like them Oh both WDW locations. Coral Reef my hubby loves to me it is totally the view. Alfredo's I thought it was good.

Rainforest Cafe and Tony's Twon Square Restaurant.

Our Sci-Fi experience was great.....

Our name was called while dh and kids were in line to see Mike and Sulley. I explained this to the hostess and instead of calling someone else or just waiting, she skated over there and waited with my kids. (They were at the front by that time.) Then she took pics of the whole family with the characters. When we got to our car, our server was also excellent. The kids had Connections vouchers, and their bill alone would have been over $50. Even though I didn't ask, the server gave them both the souvenier cups and the frisbees. Dh and I were on a separate bill because I didn't find the 29.50 vouchers to be a good deal there for adults. Our food was also fresh, hot, and tasty. :) We're going there again in August.

I've always loved Akershus and this seems to be a love it or hate it kind of place. I'll have to see how I feel once I try the new menu though.

I also like the Rainforest. I can't say that it's my favorite but the food and service have always been just fine for us.

After reading the "restaurants you hated" thread, I have to come over here and say that CRT and Chef Mickey's were both excellent for us! Cinderella lavished attention on my dd, who was dressed like her, and the other princesses were great as well. We found the food at Chef Mickey's to be excellent, and the characters there were a hoot even though they didn't talk. They each spent a few minutes at the table playing with the kids.

RFC at AK was great for us too. We aren't doing it again simply because we have one at home, and there are too many other WDW restaurants to try!

We Love RFC, Bongos,PH and Fultons. They are on our must do list every trip.

Crystal Palace and 50's PTC--these both get lots of mixed reviews. After our last visit DH declared CP a must do for every trip! We also enjoyed LTT--but we went in knowing everything I had read about on these boards so we weren't disappointed when the mac 'n cheese tasted Stouffers'-ish:D

Nine Dragons - a must do every trip. Maybe because we always order off the menu and don't do the buffet. Our waiter told us last time we were there that the buffet food is made in advance, and the menu items are always made to order.
