I play Jimmy Buffett's CDs constantly whenever I'm driving in my car.
I'm reading a book called, "A Trip to the Beach", about a couple who gave up everything and moved to an island, Anguilla, and opened a small restaurant.
I want to be walking on a powdery, white sandy beach and I want to see tourquoise water, and swim and snorkel in it.
I love Palm trees and I crave being out in the sunshine.
The best meals are those where I can sit outside and look at a tropical scene.
I can't pass up the sunscreen aisle in any store. Even if I don't need any, I get pleasure from looking at all the different brands and bottles and tubes. Same thing with chapsticks and lip balms.
I believe one can never have too many pairs of flip flops. And, speaking of flip flops, I'll buy almost anything that has a flip flop design on it. They're just so darn cute!
The Christmas Tree Shops have it right. They sell plates, cups, napkins, and assorted other items with beach scenes on them.
I have this overwhelming urge to be on or near a quiet beach somewhere where it stays warm year round.
I have subscriptions to Florida Travel and Lifestyles, Islands, Budget Travel, Travel and Leisure, and Caribbean Travel and Life.
I have a bookcase totally devoted to travel books, especially those about the Caribbean and other tropical or subtropical destinations.
As soon as I return from a trip to an island, beach, coastal community, or similar locale, I start planning my next sojourn.
I will listen to anyone talk for hours about their tropical vacation.
I like ceiling fans.
Okay, I just had to get all that out! Do I need some type of intervention program? Am I suffering from a mid-life crisis? Personally, I don't think so because this has been going on for quite a few years.
Any other people out there who just can't get enough of tropical vacations, locales, warm weather, beaches, and everything associated with them? Or do you enjoy other types of weather and/or locales?
