Do you Pool Hop?

Interesting way to put it. As someone you does have "human children of our own," I do plan to take the kids from BCV to BW to see the pool their in addition to SAB. I've see the VWL pool and was not impressed enough to go out of the way for it, but would like to run over to SSR and see if that pool is worth a try.

P.S. Gotta know, please explain the "human" part, have dogs?

I think pool hopping is one of the few real perks we get! We've pool hopped to SAB (before the ban) and VWL a few times, even though our home resort (BWV) has a great pool. I'm looking forward to checking out SSR's pool on our next visit.

We pool hop often as we have a 3yr old who loves the jumping fountain that they have at the GF and the POLY. Lots of people argue about whether or not you should but IMO - the Perk exists for us DVC members who stay on points and therefore we have every right to enjoy this perk! Once my kids are old enough to enjoy a waterpark I'm sure we'll go to one but until then, we intend to enjoy pool hopping as long as we are entitled to do so So by all means, tell your dd to enjoy while awaiting her spa treatment. As long as you are following the rules you have every right to enjoy pool hopping. Have fun!

I just want to thank everyone for reasurring me about pool hopping. Mikesmom88 had a great suggestion. I think that we might arrive just a little early and enjoy lunch and a quick swim before our appointments.

We do not pool hop even when it is allowed. When picking a resort, if we think we'll want to go swimming, we'll stay at a resort that has a pool we're intrested in.

DH and I keep saying we're going to put mouse ears on our greyhounds and take them with us. Nobody will notice, right?

We plan to try pool hopping for the first time ever this coming August. Polynesian's pool is first on our list

We did pool-hop once, over to BWV. We were staying at OKW, had planned to be at Epcot that day, and then walk over to the BWV for some special Member Day thing they were having there. It got VERY hot at Epcot that day, so we decided to spend some time in the BWV pool before the Member day festivities started. We were there maybe 1 1/2-2 hours. It was a nice opportunity in that situation, but I doubt I'd pack up all our stuff and rive to another pool as a rule. It's just easier to put on my suit, walk to my resort's pool, and hang out there.
