Yes and no. My old grand pappy Luciano from Naples loves to feed the birds in the backyard. He lives with me, so in a manner of speaking, yes, I do own a bird feeder.
Old nice guy, bless his little hardened arteries! The birds love him too. Although a bit too much sometimes, why one day I looked outside my kitchen window, there was grand papa feeding the birds, whistling and a chirpin, both he and the birdies, and the next thing you know, it is just the darndest thing I tell ya! He was airborne man, like yes, up up and away, fortunately not being the first time it has happend, and by the same birds no less, I knew most likely where to find him. Alas, there he was in an awesome bird house 2 miles away. He was fine, so were the birds,and don't ya know it? My old papa says to me that he wants to stay for awhile longer, and that the birds will fly him back home. I don't know why they didn't do that the first time, oh well!
