My DH always wanted one but we never got one. Something else always came up that we spent the money on.

We have one but rarely ever use it.

We had one when I was a teen. It was a combo pool table / ping pong table (the ping pong table was in two parts that could be place over the pool table). It was pretty fun, but more often than not just got in the way.

Just got one last year...use it all the time and love it:woohoo: :cool1:

We had a slate one -- but when DS was born almost 19 years ago we sold it because we had to move the Home Office into the Recreation Room.

We love ours. We limit TV, so it is a fun activity for evenings. We've had it 2 years.

We used to have one. It was a very nice, very big, full size expensive piece of furniture. It was a hand me down from my mom and dad when they moved into a house that could not accomadate it's size. While it was in our possession, we hardly used it for playing pool.

It had a very nice drop in cover so it could be covered with a table cloth and used as a dining room table which was handy at arge family, holiday gatherings. It also made for a fantastic sewing table. I could lay my patterns to pin them and pinning was made easier by the foam/firm surface of the drop in cover. It was such a large surface area that I could lay the patterns flat out with no problems.

My parents took it back when they moved into a bigger house. I was not sorry to see it go.

We have one and just got it last Dec, We all use it and love it.

We had a really nice one growing up. Used it a ton the first month we had it, and that was about it! My dad wound up selling it to a friend, he didn't use it much either.

I think it's one of those things that sounds great in theory, but in reality doesn't get used much. Kinda like excercise equipment! ;)

We've had one for a few years now and tend to only use it around the holidays - it's in a seperate building next to our house. We use it more for a buffet table when entertaining than for it's intended purpose! LOL But we do like it when we use it!

We use to have one, but it wasn't really nice or anything. If we turned it over we could play a few other things, like ping pong, table hockey, that stuff. We ended up losing a lot of the pieces some how though. We yard saled it, I'm not sure why they bought it with so many missing balls :rotfl: . I found one of the pool table balls cleaning out the attic the other day. I wonder how it got there. :upsidedow

We plan to get one when we buy a house. My husbands loves to play pool, it would be a good one.

Only in our dreams. ;) My late maternal grandparents did, though.

We have one and use it all the time! :) I had never played a game before I met my husband, but I must say I am pretty good now! :)

I don't, but my parents do. :goodvibes They re-did their basement a year or so ago, to make it more "hang out" ready. They put a mini refrigerator down there, stocked it with soda, put in a pool table, juke box (that actually plays 45s), pin ball machine, and a skeeball lane that they got from an arcade that was closing. That is the favorite hang out place for the older grand kids. :rotfl: I think my parents knew exactly what they were doing.

We have one in what used to be a large spare bedroom, off the living room; so it has it's own space. The kids use it a bit, plus we usually have houseguests every 6-8 weeks and it gets used a lot then. I think it was worth the investment even though I personally don't use it that much (maybe once a month - but I suck at it)

I used to love a good game of pool, but I haven't played in about 15 years!!

dh always wanted one so we splurged. nice full sized table. he, ds, dd, and their friends use it all the time. it's a good way to keep up with kids - they're here! i use it to fold clothes, sort paperwork, etc. (they don't know this) seriously, we've enjoyed it.

We had a very nice game room growing up- regualtion pool talbe, foosball talbe, pinball machine, slot machine. I got very good at pool and foosball. I can still play very well.

Went to a neighbor's Christmas party, saw that they had a foosball table- dh and I teamed up and owned the table all night. It was pretty funny to constantly be challenged by my macho neighbor men and kick the crap out of them- all legit shots.
