We both finish on Christmas Eve around midday. I will go into work the following week for half days only, it should be very, very quiet in the office.

ETA: I know you have to work at home during Christmas too, especially with family/friends visiting and/or staying over!

No, luckily DH and I always both have all the major holidays off with our jobs.

I am working but working 3rd shift so not going in till 11p. I am off Xmas eve by choice. DH is off Xmas day and getting out around 2p Xmas eve.

I work on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Not that I'm complaining :p

DH started a new job and technically wasn't supposed to have Christmas off as paid, but I believe they went ahead and gave it to him. Also--since he'd be the only one in the office Christmas week, they gave him permission to work from home. But we still need him to put 40 hours in. In that case, he can put that in whenever from the 26th to New Years Day.

DH has worked every Christmas Eve and Christmas Day for the last 35 years -- he's an Episcopal priest -- it goes with the job!:)

Nope ... :goodvibes DH works out of the house in Software Sales. Aside from a few phone calls this week he doesn't have much to do for the next two weeks really.

I always work!! ;)

My BFF has to work Christmas Eve until about 8pm and then all day Christmas Day ... I feel bad. I could never work a job that required that of me but I also left the restaurant industry that I LOVED (in general) because of the hours!

Nope...I'm done today ( I work at my dd's school) and DH is done tomorrow (half day). His whole company is done for the week..but he is salary, so he'll still get paid (and he's taking next week as vacation).

DBF has Christmas Eve off, I get off at noon, we are both off on Christmas Day. For New Year's Eve he works all day, I'm off around 3, we are both off New Year's Day.

We both work Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day...Easter, Thanksgiving, Valentine's Day, 4th of July, Arbor Day etc etc.

At home though. On the farm. The horses don't get a day off from eating and pooping so neither do we. DH has off on all of those holidays from his day job at the office. Should take us about 4-5 hours to do all the chores for the day. We put Christmas music on and just enjoy the peace and quiet in the barn while we work together.

S'all good!

I work all day Chrismas Eve, and DH has to work the day after. We're both on our regular schedules except for me being off on Friday. DH is a paramedic, and he always works the holidays that fall on his regular day to work.

I'm working, but just a half day. I work at an animal shelter, so there's lots of cleaning, feeding and socializing to do... they all still need their cuddles! We split the day so another staff member will go in to take care in the afternoon.
Luckily we have the most amazing volunteers, so I will have good company and lots of help :goodvibes

The best part is I have the weekend off. I only get about one a month and I was REALLY sick for my last one. It was my Christmas present to myself this year!

Almost never. This year he has to work new year's though. It's a federal holiday but he has duty.
