Well, I have a Master's Degree in theatre, but that and $4 will buy you a cup of coffee at Starbucks.
You're in Canada, right? There's a *lot* of production work that goes on up there, depending on where you live. Plus you seem to be bi-lingual - that's a plus.
Hmmmm...I would find out if there are any casting directors or talent agents in your area - look in the phone book or Google your area & casting directors/talent agents/whatever. Have someone take your photo with their digital camera(do NOT use a "glamour"/mall photo place). Put together a resume, even if you don't have a lot of acting experience, with your skills and (VERY IMPORTANT) current contact information. Then go in with your pictures(that really do look like you), tell them you're just starting out and really *really* want to work. Take local acting classes - once you get acquainted with folks, you'll be able to pick up "pre-production" news or find out if any projects are in your area and need bodies. Be available at a moment's notice - sometimes you'll get called the day or even the night before and sometimes the same *day* for a shoot. Find out if there are any production(acting plus the 'backstage' jobs) hotline/websites for your area - check them out *often*.
hope that helps.
