Do you only make ADR's for TS meals or counter too?

I may be asking a very dumb question  , but I see people planning out their lunch meals as well as dinner. I didn't think you make res. for counter service but thought I would ask anyway, as I was only going to plan where we were eating our dinners.

No, you do not use ADR's for CS meals. Many people plan their CS based on the different foods available at each one--many venues are unique and people enjoy the tasty alternatives to hot dogs, burgers and chicken planks. In addition some enjoy "maxing out" the DP by choosing the CS that has the biggest portions, the most expensive items or the most food to share and stretch the credits.

I do a bit of preplanning as well, I know which places I enjoy certain foods at and plan to eat there when I am at a particular park. I find the variety very enjoyable and plan on CS things as common as a hotdog or exotic (for CS) as grilled salmon.

Some people also like to eat their big table service meal at lunch; many of the restaurants are a better value and better food at lunch so people paying OOP for meals might choose to do that instead and eat counter for dinner.

We often do that =)

Reservations are for TS only. I personally am one of those people who try and plan out my CS too, but it's only because I like a game plan instead of wondering aimlessly around the world looking for a place to eat.
