Do you need id for Children to get into the port?

I am travelling with a friend's 9 year old niece on the
Wonder and was planning to meet my friend (who is
also going on the cruise) at the port but, I will have
her niece with me already. Do I need to have her
Birth Certificate with me to get into the port or just
to check in?

Birth Certificate is needed at check-in. Otherwise, children under the age of 16 do not need ID.
