Do you need a park ticket for MNSSHP or MVMCP?

I know those are hard ticket events and you need to buy a ticket to each event...but, do you also have to have a park ticket for that day? If I wanted a "resort day" and MVMCP night, for example, would I need to buy only the ticket to the event and not use a PHP day as well?

If you go after 5
PM (or is it 4 PM) you do not need a regular park ticket. Just your MVMCP ticket.

You'll only need the ticket for MVMCP to get the magic Kingdom that day.

I think it's around 4pm that they'll start letting party ticket holders in ,we'll have to wait and see until the first party is held and DISers start reporting back here on when the got in!

Yeah, I third what the other posters have said. I'm planning to have an Epcot day and take the monorail over to the MK for the party around 4.

Just curious, If you have a florida residents seasonal pass can you get into MNSSHP without buying a ticket specifically for it?

Annual passholders of any type need to buy a ticket for the party. It is a separate event and requires a separate ticket. There are some discounts for the ticket but I am not sure of what they are right now.
