It's 7:06am and we're on the road. We left the house just after 6:30. Only 30 minutes left. No small feat for the group of us.
Our dance party isn't going to work as planned. It turns out that the power inverter causes noise that is louder than the music. We may have a solution with moving files from the external drive to the C: drive. We'll try that later.
Harry is quite apprehensive and clingy. He is mostly keeping his nose resting on the console between the front seats. Being a rescue dog, I think he might be afraid he's going to a new home
Caitlin is getting her beauty rest.
Mom is resting in the back. Say "Happy Birthday Grandma Bonnie!"
Dude is driving. I told him to put on his Disney face, and this is what we got.
I did my best MySpace Face.
And finally, Magic has not figured out yet that she doesn't get to go visit Mickey. I think she's more excited than the rest of us.
About an hour ago, here's what was going on in our car:
Not much had changed for the girls.
Katie was still sleeping:
(She kindly asked me to delete her picture.)
Caitlin:
Mom looks like she was latchooking.
Harry finally settled down and took comfort in snuggling with his sister.
We made a pit-stop and the girls woke up. They finally went through their goody bags and started with the invisible ink Disney and Princess books. They were a bit of a let-down. I thought maybe you would use the pen to produce color (like old watercolor books?), but all you do is fill in the shape and a line-drawing of a character appears. But at least they're occupied.
We're stopping for lunch now. Just fast food drive through. Yuck, but fast.
