13 Days!!
Today I am going to do a little shopping with my sister. We are going to map out her the route to her new office, head up to the outlet malls to shop a little, drive through a neighborhood she wants to explore for a home, tan, and grocery shop.

I still have to decide whether to exchange the luggage. If so, I'll have to stop at Wal Mart.

Also, I have to do laundry, pack for this week, find my camera memory stick and battery, and make sure I'm ready for this week.

No shoes. I have plenty of flip flops. Although I do need something to wear with that new gold dress. All I have is gold flip flops and I feel they're not dressy enough. Katie says they're fine though.

I am visiting SF and then Napa.

I know! I am so excited.

The best part is that I am going to be SO busy between tomorrow morning and August 8th, I won't have time to think about it or stress about it, and time will surely FLY by!

I feel very ready. I feel like I've done everything necessary for the trip to be smooth.

I don't think I'll pack or even try to figure out what I'm going to pack, tonight, but if I run out of things to do and stay excited, maybe I will!

It is an illness. It really is.

I went out today with the sole goal to purchase a pair of capri golf pants for my once-annual golf outing in Napa this coming Friday. That is NOT what I got.

I went to the Liz Claiborne outlet and specifically to the Lizgolf section. I found some cute pants, but they were something like $69. I wasn't going to spend that for one day.

Then I looked at the sale racks, and they had lots much smaller than me and lots too big for me and only 2 pair in my size. I tried both on and they looked like crap. So I decided to wear a pair of black capris I already have.

Know what that means? More money to spend on clothes for WDW!! That's right!

So we went to all the "teenie-bopper stores". I got this cute dress at Rue 21:

It's smocked on top with sequins, and it has vertical wrinkles, so no worries about it getting wrinkled in packing. This will probably work best as a swimsuit cover up. I tried it on again at home tonight and felt nekkid underneath. So I will need to wear a swimsuit underneath, whether at the pool or the park.

I then went to Papaya and got this little number:

When I tried it on at home, Katie said "it looks fine, but you need to wear a bra with it." Mom said "when are you going to wear that? Pleasure Island?" "No, Mom, I'm planning to wear it to the parks, or just hanging out wherever at night." She can't believe I would consider wearing the dress on rides at the park. It is so cool and breezy. I think it will be much cooler than shorts with a waistband. So now she has threatened to break out some "sundresses" that she wore on our cruise last year. We all thought they were skirts that Mom had hiked up and called dresses. Still not sure about that. She can wear whatever she wants, IMO. (as long as it doesn't involve a fanny pack)

Ok, and lastly, this one was on the mannequin in the window:

It was so cute, I HAD to try it on. It fits perfectly and I love it. SO breezy and cool. I can wear this in the evenings like to the Boardwalk or wherever we are just hanging out. I figure anywhere that I would normally wear capris or jeans. Maybe some of our dinners? It is wrinkled and Jo says I need to iron it, but I have made it clear that I have no intentions of ironing on this vacation! I will wear it wrinkled.

Jo likes it b/c she says I can dress it up with some cool shoes and a belt or something for Vegas in September. She's right. It's cute.

I will take pics. I was thinking about that today. Are there some restaurants (bluezoo, California Grill) where it is inappropriate behavior to take photographs of your food? What do y'all think?
