Napa is nice, but to be honest, I would rather be home. Just too much to do there, and too much going on at home.

7 days!! Let's see, it's 3:15am central time. I will be sleeping in Memphis. Next time I'll wake up, I'll be getting ready to catch the flight to MCO!!

Yay! I have not changed anything yet. I read that both resorts are completely booked, so I think we'll take our chances. I am a little afraid to ask for "away from construction" because I would rather get a newly-refurbished room close to the construction than a non-refurbed room away. Does that make sense?

I changed my travel plans. Instead of spending tonight in SF and flying home tomorrow, I am headed home today. We did our massages and wraps this morning, then straight to the airport. I am glad I am getting home, because I will take tomorrow off and be able to go to Mom's closing if she needs me, and also do some Disney planning.

Weather forecast is up. Saturday through Tuesday, at least. Highs in the high 80s. 30-60% chance of isolated or scattered thunderstorms daily. Lows ~ 75.

Here's what I did today.

- Flight arrived at 12:45am. I was home about 1:30, asleep by about 2am.
- 9am - Took Mom to the bank for her cashier's check and to the title company for her closing. She now owns her SECOND HOME!!
- While at the bank, I picked up $5s and $1s for tips.
- After closing, Mom and I went to Wal Mart for some last-minute items. We bought a bunch MORE stuff for the ship-ahead box. I may try to post the final list tomorrow, if I can remember.
- Came home. Mom packed the ship-ahead box, making a list of all contents. I would hate to be packing Thursday night wondering "did I pack deodorant in the ship-ahead box?" Meanwhile, I created the shipping label.
- Sealed the box and dropped it off at the UPS Store. Did the little fake-wiping-the-hands-together dance. Done with that huge mission, which has been hanging over my head.
- Mom and I went for mani/pedis. Another "done".
- I forgot to tan. I almost fell asleep in the pedi chair, so I came home and took a nap.
- I did laundry. Only 1 load left for now.
- Dinner at Katie's restaurant - our last time to visit her at work before the trip. She works tomorrow night, but it is supposed to rain, and since it's an outdoor restaurant, we didn't want to plan to go tomorrow.

I am trying to get caught up on my DIS subscriptions. Not sure it's possible. I am going to head to bed very soon, as I have a 7am personal training appointment.

Tomorrow:
- Training
- 8 hours work
- Tan
- Pay all bills
- Call BC and request a refurbished room
- Track UPS package
- Keep going through my to-do lists.
- Continue laundry.
- Start packing. The housekeeper comes tomorrow, so I didn't want to pull out things to pack that would be in her way. Starting tomorrow night, I can set things aside.

Wednesday:
- 8 hours work
- Possible training
- Tan
- Track UPS package
- Keep going through my to-do lists.
- Continue laundry.
- Continue packing.

Thursday:
- 8 hours work
- Possible training
- Tan
- Track UPS package (should arrive Thursday)
- Keep going through my to-do lists.

Tonight, I asked Katie what she's planning to pack and she said "I forgot all about packing!" Yesterday DH told me that he has let this trip slip up on him and doesn't have all the board shorts and other clothes he needs. I told him he's on his own there. I have been buying clothes for months!

Boy am I glad I'm not like the rest of you guys, trying to price and plan my 2009 trip this week!

Oh, and I went to the HUGE Old Navy in San Francisco on Thursday and found the cutest must-have outfit for the trip. I tried it on tonight, and it's really cute. I will try to remember to take pics and post them tomorrow night. I am wearing out quickly tonight.

In other news, my sister's moving van and husband are on their way. Her DH will be here around 3:30 tomorrow morning. I think the van will be at the condo (Mom's) between 8 and 9am. They will be moving in the rest of this week. I guess Mom will stay with us until we leave Friday.

Also, Chris put in his notice at work today. He is going to start two of his own businesses. We are both very excited about this. Best of all, it will have him in a great mood on our vacation!
