As Susan noted, I collect Christmas ornaments of places I've visited. I also ask friends and family who travel to bring me an ornament from 'wherever'. So I have ornaments from all over the world and it's so much fun unwrapping them each year and remembering all the great memories. I have so many ornaments that I need multiple trees to display them. I don't know what I'm going to do moving from a four bedroom house to a smaller condo. But the teacher in me will get creative and figure some way to display them.
I also buy Disney t-shirts, hats, pencils, pens, notepads, etc. to give family and friends upon my return.
Packing and moving is the worst! I just moved in May and it was a nightmare!!!
What grade level did you teach?
If you remember, whenever one of you girls was sick and didn't feel like eating, I would buy you Reeses PB cups and milkshakes. Somehow that seemed like a tricky way to get protein and calcium into your feeble little bodies.
I almost spit out my water when I read this.
Plus, no one will ever be able to find your BC room. They'd need to know your last name. And if anyone is pathetic enough to just hang in the lobby until they spot you, then call the Disney police!!!
