Do you mention special dates on your reservation?

In the past I know I have mentioned when it was a special occasion when visiting WDW but I wonder if anyone does this anymore (I guess everyone has a special occasion some time). We will be celebrating our 25th anniversary on our next trip and didn't know whether to mention it on our reservations or not.

By all means mention it when you make your reservations. It can't hurt and it might help with an upgrade or special gift.

Its especially important to mention this when making ADR's. You may get surprised with a free desert or some other recognition.

Absolutely! Don't hold back. Tell every cast member you encounter before and during your trip about your special day. You never know what might happen!

In fact, here's an idea --- During several of our family's trips, my dad would write compose a poem to the guest services folks at whichever resort we were staying at. If we were going to FW, for instance, he might include which loop we preferred and how close to the comfort station we wanted to be. It took a little creativity, but he really relished the work. Once, at POR, we got upgraded to a water-view room because of one of his little compositions. The folks at reservations get so many special requests, you know it can't hurt to make yours stand out a little.
