I've mail ordered my contacts for years through 1-800 contacts.

I've used 1800 contacts as well. But honeslty, I have found my eyecare provider is just as cheap as they are. Or nearly as cheap and I don't have to worry about something happening to my shipment. And if something goes wrong with the contacts, it's easier to deal with my doc. Might be worth checking locally too

I know this isn't what you asked, but Costco has very good prices on contacts and you don't have to deal with shipping charges.....

I get my DS, and DD's contacts either at Costco or Wal-mart, and the prices are as good or better than the mail order ones, with no shipping.

I always check the price for my contacts online, then call my eye doctor and they will match it, if I have proof of the price I can get online. Let's me deal with someone local in case there are problems.

Another 1-800-CONTACTS customer here........have used them for years, only ever got one defective lens and when I called they had me a new sent out right away.

Well, before I read the Costco responses, I ordered from 1800contacts. They had free shipping. I think they are probably about the same price as the eye doctor. Only difference is that they will come right to my door. Believe me, if I have ONE LESS doctor's office to stop at, all the better. Next time, I will have to try Costco.

Another satisfied 1-800 Contacts customer here, and we order for all four of us. Never had a problem.

I've been using 1-800-Contacts for about 5 years. You can actually order two+ years worth at once so that you don't have to visit the eye doctor every year (my eyes don't change much in a year, I think that rule is stupid). But if your script does change, just send it back what you don't use and exchange.

Also, they have never charged me shipping and usually have lots of rebates.
