If so, can you tell me an area thats family friendly with awesome schools?

Try Madison, Indiana...it is right on the Ohio River and is a very charming town, but close to several big cities ( Louisville, Indy, Cincy). My In-Laws live there and really enjoy the area. My Wife and I often think about moving there and really think it is a wonderful place. There are two nice Indiana State Parks in that Area...Clifty Falls and Versailles State Park....we go there camping every chance we get. I have also heard some very good reviews of the Madison School System.

Richmond...... where we live. It is about an hour from both. Small town feel with most of the modern conveniences....i.e. Starbucks! Private schools and public schools are pretty decent!

I would be glad to give you more info if you are interested.

My husband also pastors a church here.

I have family that live in Shelbyville IN, which is pretty much right between Indy and Cinci, right off Interstate 74. It's a somewhat small town, but lots of shopping, restaurants etc.

We just moved to Connersville. The schools are not stellar here but the private schools are inexpensive. The homes are very inexpensive.

I would suggest any of the nice communities along the National Road (hwy 40). Greenfield may be too close to indy for you, but it looks nice. Richmond and Shelbyville also seem to have interesting things to do.
