Do you like your Cuddlebug?

For those of you who have a Cuttlebug, do you like it? I have a baby cricut and was looking at the Cuttlebug to do the embossing. Is it worth the money, do you use it a lot?

I love love love my cuttlebug. It's great for making cardsna and embellishments. I have not regretted buying for a minute, and an now obsessed with finding all the cool embossing folders

I used to do embossing the old way--brass stencils, a light box and a stylus, so yes, I think the Cuddlebug is a marvelous, marvelous gadget.

I love my cuttlebug. In fact, I just learned tonight how to ink the embossing folders.

ACM had a sale a few weeks ago and Cuttlebugs were 55% off. I bought my mom one. The next day we went to a LSS yardsale. She got a new one that was out of the box but still wrapped for $15. So keep your eyes open for sales or ask your CM consultants if they have one that they might be getting rid of. CM just came out with their own version and some CM consultants are getting rid of their Cuttlebugs.

I have another cutter and I bought a cuttlebug exclusively for the embossing. I love it. My DD8 loves it and my DS4 loves it. I keep having to tell them to quit playing with my stuff.

I bought a Big Kick and you can use a variety of sizes of die cuts and the cuttlebug embossing folders work too! I also got dd a Cuttlekids one and she likes it.

What dies from other companies can I use with it?

Also, where is a good place to get dies and embossing folders at a good price? We have limited selection around here, with Hobby Lobby and Michaels having a few products.

Try Walmart on line. They carry some for it at a decent price. That was were I was checking to buy my Cuttlebug. I thought you couldn't use Michaels coupons on the Cuttlebug or is it just not on the Cricut stuff?

You can't use it on Cricut.
I used to think the same thing, but I'd read on here somewhere that you could use it on the Cuttlebug, and I asked before buying last night. The clerk said yes with a smile, so I went ahead!!

The thing I love about the cuttlebug is it takes every different brand of die I've tried (quickutz, sizzix, cuttlebug). I haven't tried my daughters cuttlekids dies in it yet . . . . maybe this weekend I'll try that.

That seemed to be their big selling point though - they claim it'll take all dies.

I have not found a die it wont take. Although sizzix has some really long dies I doubt it will take simply because of the length.
