Do you like this?

A few weeks ago, some one displayed art asking people's opinions. He was not too nice when people gave their dislikes. I guess it was work he did. Well, I did not paint anything, but I am thinking about buying a nice print. Besides the price, do you like this? Would you call this good quality art?

I agree....art is soooooo subjective. I personally would not display that piece unless *I* was the woman in the piece....lol. I just don't have buxom blondes on display at my house...except myself...

I personally don't care for that "piece"...and as for it ever being displayed in my home? Ummm, no.

I agree with the others that you should think about how you would feel about displaying the print in your house. Do you enjoy looking at it? Does it make you feel good? Can you imagine looking at it for the next few years? Where would you put it? Would it fit in with the rest of the decor of that area of your house?

Now ... that being said ... I hate it lol! I wouldn't put it up. Why..? I guess it is cliched and tacky ... to me. However, I wouldn't tell you not to put it up!

If you like it and would enjoy having it in your house then you should go ahead and buy it.

I don't like it at all. I hope you don't find that insulting. It's too dreamy-70's...

And the woman looks like a picture/portrait superimposed on a painted background. Like two different artists worked on it, one for her and one for the foliage.

Just stating my opinion, I am no expert by any means. I totally agree that if you like it, if it strikes something in you...you should get it.

I agree. BUT, as others have stated, art is extremely personal. To each his own.

No, that's not something I would like at all. BUT, I'm sure I like a lot of things that others don't like.

So basically, who cares! If you enjoy it and would like looking at it, buy it and don't worry about what anyone else thinks.

I don't know about good quality art. To me, it looks like the artist is very talented. But what is quality right now? Abstract?

I agree. I like the art piece but wouldn't have a clue if it was quality or not.

I just think it looks nicely done.

Then again, my house doesn't really have any art displayed other than an oil painting of teddy bears.
