I really don't like peanut butter all that much (except I love me some Reese's), but love peanut butter and jelly. The combination is really yummy. I bet you'd like it, if you tried it.

Blech....not a fan of peanut butter unless it's surrounded by chocolate.

When we were younger and used to go to a babysitter, she would sometimes make pb&j for lunch for us because her son liked them.

I can't imagine having never eaten a PB&J. It was one of the few things I would eat for lunch as a child.

I still love 'em! Crunchy Peter Pan, grape jelly and squishy white bread... mmmmm Of course, I never get them on white bread, we usually have whole grain bread.

Ooh, yes, but only with smooth peanut butter and strawberry jelly, and ideally on white bread. I loathe grape jelly and grew up only eating sandwiches on whole wheat bread, so now I find I just like white better.

How about a PB&J Burrito?

I use too camp a lot and started taking burrito sized flour tortillas instead of bread (so it wouldn't get squished!)

You take a Tortilla, put about three spoonfulls of PB (superchunk is my favorite) and a good grape jelly. Roll it up and munch away! (you can squish it so it evens out in the length of the roll up)

(this was years before the "roll up" craze hit)

My DW though I was crazy when we were dating (well, maby I am, that's another Thread!) Now she is hooked on the PB&J Burritos!

for some reason this was something my DM never fixed us growing up. We had peanut butter, but I don't ever remember having jelly with them.

At our house, we lots of jelly on toast and lots of peanut butter on crackers, but for some reason we just don't eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. One of lifes mysteries.......................

In a word: NO!

The only time I've had one that I've liked was with a thin film of peanut butter on one side (and I'm definiatly talking "film" and not "layer") with homemade strawberry jam on the other side. A LITTLE bit of peanut butter flavor is good, but the way most people make it (and the way the girls eat it) is just vile.

Then again, the only reason I like peanut butter cups is because a) they have chocolate and b) the peanut butter is WAY sweeter than what you get out of the jar.
