I didn't care for Boma when I ate there. I guess I am just not a big fan of the type of seasonings and stuff they use. I'm glad that others enjoy it though! :)

I'd have to agree with Nicole. We went with high expectations --- had neighbors who raved about it. I think I should have checked on the menu a bit more before going. We did enjoy those desserts though. We had never been to AKL so we enjoyed the lobby, some kids activities and the lookout. It's a beautiful property but it's one of the few Disney restaurants to which we won't return.

:goodvibes Always go for breakfast at least once when we are in WDW.
To me it is a fun place and I always over indulge. Well...maybe just a little.
Shirley

We only did breakfast there, but we did it 4 days in a row. My husband just loves it. So much to choose from. We are going to try dinner in August.

Dinner is fantastic but breakfast is better :thumbsup2

We enjoy Boma for breakfast or dinner! Great food and the kids always enjoy the different foods.

Loved it. Great food, Wait was a bit too long at 25 minutes. But the drinks in the little mezzanine bar were really good. So it didn't matter much.

For me, It ranked third (of 9) on our trip last trip behind Spoodles, and CA Grill.
For DS, it ranked 5th behind CM,Spoodles, CA Grill, and CP.

It didn't quite live up to the overhype it sometimes gets on this site though.

I always say try it once unless you know you hate new things.

My thoughts? Eh.

Wasn't fantastic but not horrible either. I don't think I would treck back there for a while.

I wish I could have voted three times, once for each member of the family - we all agree that it's our favorite restaurant at WDW. We've only had dinner there so far, though, and hope to try the breakfast next time.

I really liked Boma. The food was good, and the chefs were all available to answer questions and make suggestions. I was in the minority in my family, though. They did not care for it and asked if we can skip it this time.

I thought Boma was one of the worst places we've ever eaten at WDW. I usually love unusual food but I didn't find anything I liked (I tried all of the soups and a taste of everything on the buffet). Some people love it, the only thing I loved was the atmosphere and leaving.

I'm in the wishy-washy category on this restaurant. We had breakfast there and, while it was good, it was not overwhelming or unusual in it's offerings.

Food aside, we were treated so shabbily by a castmember there that we won't ever go back no matter how good the food is.

Loved it for breakfast and will probably go back. Never ate dinner there. From what I can gather from these boards breakfast is better than dinner. If we ever have the opportunity to eat dinner at AKL I think I would splurge and go to Jiko.

So glad to hear some positive reviews of breakfast there. We just made ressies there for breakfast next Friday, May 5, our last morning. We got one of their last times-10:45-so I hope they're not cleaning up stuff while we're still trying to eat! Deb Wills site says they have a make-your own omelette. DH loves those!

Voted haven't tried it yet.....we will on May 17th, staying at AKL and eating at Boma our 1st night!!! :cheer2:

We've been for both breakfast and dinner and enjoyed them both. We're going back for dinner in October.

I love Boma's and I can't wait to go in June! Also going to try breakfast there in June!

This was so difficult to admit, but I had to vote hated it. :guilty:

I love AKL, this summer will be our third time staying there, and I wanted to love Boma. We've only had the breakfast, and many of the food selections had some types of spices in it that I didn't care for. Even the eggs tasted like it had something like cinnamon in them The place was packed, so I think I was a minority! Everyone in my group liked the food, and ate heartily. I guess I wasn't blessed with an appreciation of exotic tastes!
