We have finally nailed down our daily plan for our trip the first week of May. Me, DH, DD9 staying at the BWV for 8 nights...first time at WDW! What do you think of our ADR choices? There were soooooo many other places that I wanted to try...but they'll have to wait until next time! :)

Saturday 4/30 - arrive at MCO at 5pm, grab dinner somewhere on Boardwalk...ESPN Club or Big River Grille

Sunday 5/1 - EP, QS lunch in Mexico/Norway/China area, ADR at Spice Road Table 7pm

Monday 5/2 - AK (EMH), Tusker House at 11am, Sanaa at 7pm

Tuesday 5/3 - pool/resort day (maybe brunch at Trattoria Al Forno), MK night, ADR at BOG at 6pm

Wednesday 5/4 - EP, QS lunch, ADR at Tokyo Dining at 7pm

Thursday 5/5 - KSC day, Il Mulino at 7pm (through Open Table...so can cancel if day at KSC goes long)

Friday 5/6 - MK (EMH), CRT 1pm, Disney Springs night, The Boathouse at 7pm (through Open Table...so can cancel if we decide to not go to Disney Springs, or if we are too full from our late lunch)

Saturday 5/7 - HS, QS lunch, grab dinner somewhere in Boardwalk area

Sunday 5/8 - 7:00 a.m. flight back home

Your plan seems pretty awesome to me...

Espn or BRG are both very good for a quick No ADR type of meal.....Perfect for a start of the trip meal.

QS are very good where you are looking, So go with what the gut says...Or try em all..LoL Spice Rd table is the only 1 we haven't eaten at yet...We'll be trying it this fall.

Monday is perfect. TH is our 2nd fav. Breakfast Character meal/ behind 1900, and Sanaa is EXCELLENT!!!

Tues. Resort should be relaxing w/ a mid morning brunch, followed by BOG at night....2 good choices there.

Wed. Epcot....Might I suggest UK QS or France...Both have nice lil portions which are delish. TOKYO Dining is one of our hidden fav's.
We like it a ton better than Teppon Edo.

Thur. Il Mulino..--->:thumbsup2

Fri. We haven't tried the Boathouse, but there are a ton of options to choose from ....We personally love BONGOS Cuban Cafe.

Sat. There are plenty of options for you...Might I suggest a stroll over to the Dolphin...Another lil find called Picabu.....Has a lil of everything..Good prices too.

Thank you! I am soooo excited for Sanaa! I have been looking at the menu every few days for about A YEAR! Seriously...I CAN'T WAIT! :bounce:

Have a great trip!!:thumbsup2

I have always dreamed of going on an African Safari. And I doubt I will ever get the chance. So a stay at AKL may be as close as I'll get!

True.... It as Awesome....But be forewarned.....Once you go here, it'll be hard to go back to other places.

B.T.W. BWV is excellent as well....Just stayed for our 2nd time this past summer....Can't beat that location.......

only comment i have is that by all reports, QS in HS is pretty abysmal. are you doing DDP? 50's primetime and Sci Fi Dine in are both less expensive table service options that are well reviewed and not a whole lot more for some things than QS. Maybe at 50's primetime split the sampler between two adults or get a few appetizers and a shake at Sci Fi Dine in. just a thought!

Uh...That's pretty rude....

Not very helpful without telling us why you don't like them.

How is this rude? The op asked a simple question. Do you like my ADR choices. I gave a simple answer. NO.

Do not fault me because the OP created such a simple original question. Her question required a yes or now answer. Nothing more, nothing less.

And once again...Have a magical DAY!

Looks great to me!!! I've eaten at all of these, except ESPN and, though Big River Grille isn't my favorite, it's a good choice for arrival day when you don't want to be tied down to an ADR. FYI, if the wait is long at Big River Grille, the QS options on the Boardwalk, IMHO, are excellent. Great salads, sandwiches (love the smoked turkey!), pizza, etc. We've done a casual QS meal here many times and you'll have the entertainment going on as well - it's so fun!

Looks awesome. Only thing I will say is I have had ridiculously bad experiences at ESPN for the last 3 times. Food has gone down in quality while the price went up. It got bad enough I swore off eating there and decided I would just go for drinks and watching games from here on. Last time we were there we went to watch a hockey game (I had sworn off eating there, was just having drinks and but my sister wanted food). Food was def. pre-packaged, but whatever. The WAY bigger issue is that I finished a beer I got right before the 2nd period started with 5 minutes to go in the 2nd (keep in mind this is a Tuesday at around 9, there are about 8 tables in the whole place). We were worn out from the day (and really boring game. Neither team was doing anything) and ready for bed. I did not receive my bill until the end of the game when I finally flagged down the server (or in other words, did not see the server for around an hour. No checkins, nothing). So I've completely sworn off that place even for drinks now. Something to consider as an alternative, it is a quick walk/boat ride to head over to Beach/Yacht, which have some awesome places to eat (Crews Cup is really good, I love seafood so I love the Clam bake as well, and Beaches and Cream has really good food if you can get in).

What QS options are there are on the Boardwalk that you are referring too...salads, sandwiches, etc. ??? Might be a great option to grab something and eat it back in our villa that first night. But I'm not sure where exactly on the Boardwalk. ???

OK, good to know. I hate slow service. And our arrival night, we are going to be tired and just wanting to eat and leave. Thanks...I think I'll take ESPN off the list!
