Do you know where the US States are?

13 out of 13 on Canada in 67 seconds. Is it bad that I apparently know Canada better than I know the US? Well, I can see Canada from my front porch, and I've watched enough Hockey Night in Canada to know all the words to 'O Canada', so maybe I've earned some sort of honorary Canadian status!

I'm HORRIBLE at states. I spent the first 30 years of my life in NY where I only knew NY, NJ, Florida and California. The rest of the country really didn't even exist to me!

Wow, I take it back! I did okay for a geographical illiterate!!! It was a lot of fun! 70%! For a person who knows not ONE thing about the midwest, I did GOOD!!

I did it! 100% with 0 miles in 249 seconds and I started with Missouri. I did get a little lucky though, it gave me Arizona and then Wyoming and I remembered that Arizona and Wyoming are 2 of the 4 corners. Once I got them placed, the rest of the West was a piece of cake.

96% with an average of 5 miles. Starting with midwestern states (and no frame of reference) is a pain. One of the errors was when I released the mouse because the cursor covered the state completely. Darned tiny little east coast states.

WOW, I am trying to get a perfect score, and it is so hard! Well, I think I got the closest I could come to it without getting a 100%....

I got 98% with an error of 1 mile! I was just off by 1 stinking mile and I would have made 100%

It's a lot easier, I think. Only 10 provinces, as opposed to 50 states.

84% here also, with an average error of 60 miles. Funny thing is being from CT new england and the east coast was easy, it those darn midwestern states I messed up on.

I am also from CT and this was my result, as well - including struggling with the midwestern states!

I'm ashamed to say I got 82%! I really do know where all the states are but this test was so picky with the boarders. Even if you put the state like a half centimeter from where it should be, you still get points off.

Just give me a blank map of the US (WITH boarders) I'll be able to point out all the states.

not fair! you place it close enough where it should be... but still you're wrong! it has to be almost precise! i do better when the test map is not set up like this.. i want to find this quiz that my son took when he was in 4th grade.. they have borders and all you have to do as use the cursor when they tell you the states.. and they time you. i like that one better.

I got 86% with an average error of 17 miles.

The first state to show up was West Virginia; second was Wyoming. Pretty hard to place perfectly, especially since I didn't realize the name of the state was shown until I was already more than halfway finished

Second time I did it I got 88% with an average error of 11 miles. It all really depends on the order the states show up in.

I'm going to have DS12 try. Our school lacks geography but I think it's pretty important stuff to know.
