Do you know what this is?

Cell junctions- dragging those up from the depths of my memory! I graduated over 15 years ago.
Let me know if you need any help when you get to DNA- now THAT stuff I know (and use every day ;) )

ah DNA and protein synthesis is stuck in my head. For some reason, that just clicked! We were given the title of a movie our campus library had on protein synthesis, and for some reason, watching it and seeing the DNA break, and the RNA make its match, just really stuck. My luck, the exam wont cover much of that LOL...

Wednesday we move onto Tissue's which I think will be much easier for me to learn than the chemistry and cell part of A/P. I'm very visual, and knowing that I can SEE the different tissue's just helps LOL....I cant wait until we get to skeletal....

Well, I'm a microbiologist, and I thought it was a bracelet. :rotfl:

YESSA! It's the Fluid Mosaic Model of the plasma membrane, the red part- that's a protein....the green is glycolipid, and the yellow is chloresterol

I forgot to put in the filaments of cytoskeleton....darn it...

Phospholipids are a big deal for some reason with this professor- she keeps saying "make sure you know phospholipids"... this is one of our essay questions, to draw and label, and note how each contributes to membrane function...she gives us the 6 quesions ahead, and then we have to pick 2 on the exam....

Which I should be studying for.....

off to draw the 3 types of cell junctions

Oh for the love of Pete!!! :faint:
