I know its a double helix, but in science class we had to draw a straigthened strand of DNA.I thought that might be it.

You are so close- you probably did this, just before moving onto the study of DNA.....your pretty lucky- we have to draw the double helix coiled..YUCK! If you think this ones bad, you should see the one I did for that thank god my professor cant write neatly- she doesnt give us a hard time about our lack of artistic ability, given her issue with handwritting!

YESSA! It's the Fluid Mosaic Model of the plasma membrane, the red part- that's a protein....the green is glycolipid, and the yellow is chloresterol

I forgot to put in the filaments of cytoskeleton....darn it...

Phospholipids are a big deal for some reason with this professor- she keeps saying "make sure you know phospholipids"... this is one of our essay questions, to draw and label, and note how each contributes to membrane function...she gives us the 6 quesions ahead, and then we have to pick 2 on the exam....

Which I should be studying for.....

Yeah, you'll learn it all I'm sure! I've got nine years on you-and probably 8 or so more years of school, so it will come in time, especially if you do anything science-related.

yes, the heads LOVE water- the tails do not....polar heads, non polar tails!

I just drew the 3 cell junctions in paint, but theres NO way anyone will figure out what those are, I'm going to try it on regular paper and see if it's closer to what the book "thinks" they look like...LOL
