One of my friends and his wife have tried out for a couple of reality show pilots but none of the shows got picked up. That's the closest I can come.

A good friend of mine was on Fear Factor. Loved hearing his stories from that experience.

A girl my sister went to school with and was in showchoir with ended up being on Flavor Flav's show...apparently she was the "REALLY CRAZY" one who thought she could sing(hmmm doesn't that pretty much sum up all of the girls on his show?!)

I have a couple of friends who were on Jerry Springer about 10 years ago, a segment about people who have lots of $3x with lots of people. These guys were in competition with each other to see who could bed the most girls. They said the producers made them up their numbers for the show.

Also, I know a family who was on Extreme Makeover Home Edition about a year and a half ago. The 17 year old son was just arrested 2 weeks ago with armed robbery!

Well dont know if this counts as a reality show. My husband and I know the balif for judge judy. They call him byrd. Weve heard quite a bit about the judge. jo

Also, my son's mentor and buddy since the 6th grade, has a daughter who is married to Ruben Studdard, MY favorite AI winner!! I've never met him but he sends us homemade goodies all of the time and has invented my son down to his camp in Alabama.

Wow, sounds like the show Wife Swap does nothing for the participants but create a lot of drama!

My family was on Bozo. They zoomed in on one of my DDs as she sat on DH's lap clutching her Bozo doll when they went to commercial. This was about 16 or 17 years ago. We still have the VHS tape.


A guy that I went to grade school was on an HGTV show (I can't remember the name) where they surprise a family and give them a yard make-over. His yard was really cool with a movie screen theater, play set for the kids...

I was flipping through channels and came across it. I had no idea that he had even moved from IL to the south (GA, I think).

Not that I know of....but I am pretty convinced that my work is the reality show version of The Office (I even work for an office supply company), they just haven't aired any of the episodes yet.

I went to college with one of the girls that was on the Bachelor a couple of years back. She had dated a friend of mine back then, and we enjoyed watching her be a total tramp on tv.

My husband went to High School with one of the Captains of a boat on the earlier Deadliest Catch seasons. I don't remember what he said his name was, but they keep in touch on Facebook. My husband had no idea until they were chatting about what they'd been up to over the years

I didn't know him personally but ran into Hardy from big Brother,( I think season 2) at clubs in York all the time. When I first saw him I called my SIL her line was busy cause she was trying to call me at the same time, it was wierd watching him at first cause he was the down to earth guy, when in reality when we would see him at the clubs he was all about himself. Still a nice guy just really really all about himself.

We know Maggie, one of the winners of Big Brother, and have also met Eric (My Cappie) from the same season. My dd went to school with his dd.

My dd tried to get us onto Wife Swap but I turned it down. After reading the previous posts about this show I am glad I did!
