I work with a woman that "claims" she likes Disney. However I find that hard to believe because she is such a back-stabbing person at work.

To me, if you like/enjoy Disney it is because you "get it". You "feel" the magic everytime you walk onto Main Street. To me it is almost a way of life. I know it sounds corny but I don't know a better to descript it.

Any comments...

My FIL back in 95 gave hubby down the road for taking me to WDW for a belated honeymoon. Said all kind of awful stuff about WDW. Then last November had the nerve to ask us to help him with a trip he was taking with his youngest daughter. I didn't help him NO WAY The whole time I was thinking, "Hateful people shouldn't be allowed in WDW!"

One of the things I like about WDW is all the different people there who are into it.

Last time I saw a girl with strange-colored hair and lots of metal things all over her body, tattoos, and black clothes with more metal things, black and white makeup on her face. She had a boyfriend to match.

She's pointing and exclaiming to her boyfriend, "Oh my God! There's a dwarf!"

It takes all kinds. :)

I agree it does take all kinds... I'm asking (talking) about people that you absolutely, positively can't believe are into Disney from a behaviorial (sp?) not a visual standpoint.

To me, if you like Disney you sorta need to believe in magic. If you believe in "magic" I don't see how you can be an "evil" person in a day to day environment.

That's funny. I know two women who are involved with married men, and it came out in a conversation that both their men took their families to WDW for their family vacations. Without even thinking I said out loud, "Ugh, I wish they would stay away from WDW!"

 I might be one of those people .

I have a tough field service job and have no problem telling co-workers why I think they are not pulling their weight.

I live in an area that makes me Hard when it comes to trusting people and what they want .

I did many xtream sports growing up and my last was Playing Paintball on the National Level.

When I say I love DISNEY ( WDW or DL ) people Just drop the jaw and can't beleive it.

But for me thats JUST What Disney is an escape from everything in my life.
I'm more relaxed going comando in the parks then just sitting on my back deck watching the neighborhood kids run rampet wondering if they are going to throw rocks in my pool as they pass just because it's there.

So I'm not an evel or mean person but I'm not what you would think to be such a Disney fanatic as I am.
