But had to stop in and say - this is why our car insurance rates are so high. The trickle down effect!!!
Our neighbor did this in a way - he did have his car broken into, but greatly inflated what was stolen. He thought he was going to get several thousand to replace those items (one was his fiances diamond engagement ring - which she has been wearing the entire time!!) Well come to find out his policy had a $1k limit - he still got more than he should have, but at least it was not more!! I did tell him I thought it was wrong that he did that and he would feel it later!! He just looked at me like he could not believe I said that - maybe someday he will learn!!!

His uncle never let him borrow anything again.

Trust me, it wasn't done for dramatic effect. They actually did this, and one of my cousin's was a cop at the time.![]()

The kid that overheard the conversation mentioned it to his mom and she reported it to the county police, who had already found the truck in a mudhole in the next county, who did absolutely nothing about it.candykisses said:Years ago a kid in the neighborhood borrowed his uncles's backhoe, dug a deep hole and buried his trashed Subaru.
