Do you know any way to go to church during a Disney vacation?

There used to be a service at the Poly years ago. I don't expect to find one that close. I would think there would be a church somewhere that would want to provide transportation to get us lost souls to church. What does anyone know about that?

Check nearby locales like Winter Garden, Kissimmee, etc for religious services via an internet search. I suspect you’ll have to book an Uber or Lyft to get there. There are religious services on site during the high holy days (generally at the Contemporary) but that’s all that I’m aware of.

Mary Queen of the Shrine I believe is the closest church (might depend on where you are staying). It is right by the College CMs apartments. 8300 Vineland Avenue, 407-239-6600. You will have to Uber I would think.

Many churches also show their services online. Our services are on YouTube each week so we’ve watched from various places or, listened to them in the car.

For Catholic, as mentioned, there's Maryland Queen of the Universe and also down in Celebration there's Corpus Christi. They have great music and while down there we eat at Colombia Restaurant (yum).

Celebration probably has several other denomination churches but I'm not familiar.

To avoid any confusion, the apartments by the Catholic Church no longer house College CMs. CMs have a new complex at Flamingo Crossing west of CSR. Didn't want anyone looking for a church by them.

Thanks for clearing it up.....my dd was in two of them. We drove by so many times. Chattam (?), Patterson(? if my memory is right) and the International apartments were there at the time.

Yes my DD lived in Chatham. Those and Patterson were privately owned real estate. The other was Vista that is on 535/I-4. DD lived there too. It was owned by Disney. Disney built a beautiful complex at Flamingo Crossing for CPs and I think large enough CMs can rent some too. It opened in 2021. It's a growing area but I don't think there are any churches around it.

Not in the age of Rideshares. But Uber & Lyft are very easy apps to use, just need the address of the church you want to attend. And they are readily available so you will not have an issue getting one to or from church.

we will be down there this Friday.

We plan to go to Mass on Saturday 6pm instead of Sunday morning.

It is a 15-20 min drive from Boardwalk Villa (where we are staying). We will just get an uber.

Yeah after in the college program was over my daughter moved from Flamingo Crossing into Patterson with two other women.
