We are a party of 5 and we are staying at Windsor Hills for the Sat. - Sat. but I want to book a suite for 2 nights before that. I have only found the Residence Inn that has 2 bed AND 2 baths. I know there have to be more. I don't want the Penthouse suite at a pricey hotel, but I would like clean and well-maintained. The amenities are not all that important (we will have a private pool at WH, so we don't need to swim at the hotel). Standard stuff would be fine.
I don't know why I'm having a hard time finding this, unless it's just not something that usual in the Orlando area?
We are flying into MCO, so anything in that area or even a little bit away from there is fine. We will then be driving into Kissimmee on Saturday, but not starting the parks until Sunday (due to Presidents Day week crowds). We will have a rental car.
Hope to see the Shuttle Launch when we first come in on the 24th!!!

Thanks all!

I would recommend the Caribe Royale as well. It's a beautiful resort with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, lots of room. We stayed there a few years ago for 1 night upon our late arrival to Orlando. Hope this helps.

Mousesavers has discounted rates posted, and they have "one day sales" on their website that are usually pretty good deals also.

Fantasy World Club Villas have 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom townhouses. Very clean and great rates, as well.

There are several Marriott Vacation Club villas - we are staying at Harbour Lake in March - they have very nice 2 bedroom 2 bathroom units with washer/dryer and full kitchens. Marriott's website will list them all.

Thanks everyone! I've checked out Caribe Royale and it's gorgeous! I'm off to check out the others listed. I'm very appreciative of the information. It is a HUGE help!:thumbsup2

I was researching for a friend who wanted a 2br 2bath....I thought Caribe Royale was great....

She would up going with Windsor hills...she can get a 3br for real cheap.
Have you stayed at Windsor Hills before??? Caribe is considerably more expensive....but looks much nicer?
Thanks
Kerri

Hi Kerri,
We are staying at Windsor Hills (3 bed, 2 bath, private pool) for the Saturday through Saturday part of our vacation, however, I need to book a suite for the 2 days before that (Thurs and Friday nights). I don't think I can book just 2 nights through Windsor Hills, can I? The condo that I booked is not available, I know that. If there are other WH condos that book for just a couple of nights, I guess I need to look into that. I didn't even think of it, honestly!

I think, if we can't get into a condo at WH for the first 2 night, then we will probably book with Caribe Royale. The Fantasy World suites are a GREAT rate, and if I decide not to spend the extra money, we will probably stay there. I would love to have the luxury of Caribe Royale for 2 nights, though. It just looks beautiful, as you said!

If you have any info on 2 night bookings through Windsor Hills, please let me know. Thanks!

You can consider Mona Lisa Hotel in Celebration or Omni Hotel in Champions Gates..... both have 2 bedroom 2 bath suites....... Celebration is very close to Animal Kingdom.....Champion Gates is a bit further.....but the hotel is very nice.

If you are coming in on 24th, then I am assuming you are looking for something from 2/24 to 2/26. My family does this too. We own a timeshare week in Orlando, but we started flying in a few days before and having a short stay at another resort. I use the website www.booking.com and I've been COMPLETELY satisfied.

Last year (7/21 - 7/24) I got a 2bd/2ba unit at Blue Tree Resort in Lake Buena Vista for a GRAND total of $196.40. That included taxes and all. And it was located right off of 535 in the crossroads area. Very NICE area. I loved it.

We just booked a 2BR/2BA room here for $107.00 a night for the last weekend in February. Its a fairly new place right off 192 next to Old Town.

Right now, booking.com is offering a 2bd/2ba unit at barefootn for $214. I put in dates 2/24 - 2/26.
