I have a black lab/husky mix, and labs are known to be very friendly. He always sneaks in a kiss when we're least expecting it, and he loves to have kisses on the forehead (that's a reward for him). Pets are children - why not show them affection?

Sabrina, the cat-who-thinks-she-is-a-kid, gets kisses on the top of her head, between the ears. Thumper, the-rabbit-who-controls-the-cat, gets kisses on her nose!
Took a bit of time to get Thumper used to what I was doing. We have a 'ritual', I guess you would say....first I have to make the kissing noises, then I can kiss her nose. If I don't make the noises first and just get my face in hers, she tends to get a little jumpy!!
