Do you keep an airbed in your Owner's Locker?

What kind do you have?

I don't want an expensive one, but more importantly I don't want a bulky one filling up my OL. I was looking at them at Target today and the more expensive ones were bulkier. There's a Coleman one for something like $17. Walmart has it for less than $15. It doesn't come with a pump. The smallest (and cheapest) pump I saw was about $11; again small is important, but I also want it to work. It was battery operated. The others were electric or rechargeable, but bigger.

What do you have, and what have you learned from having it? One fear I have is not being able to DEflate it on the day we have to checkout. Never used one before, so want to make sure I do this right. :)

We don't need anything fancy...DS (15) has been relegated to the floor by his older sisters (who each need their own bed  ) on vacation; why he goes along with it, I don't know, but anything that's an improvement, I'm sure he'd appreciate.

We just returned from WDW and successfully used our Coleman double-sized airbed in a BCV studio!! It fit right by the door. Yes, we keep it in our Owner's Locker (with an electirc pump, too - not sure what brand). Since this was the first time we used the bed, we were worried that it wouldn't fold back up as tightly as before. We had no problem!! It was a dream!

It also deflated in no time.

HTH

Yes, that helped! Good to hear. We'll do a dry run at home before we go.

BTW, I just love your wedding picture! Beautiful!

This is a question I too have been wondering. My kids don't particularily like sleeping in the same bed and I may do this just to avoid the ensueing "conflicts" (that and a good pair of earplugs).

There is a single airbed and pump in our Owner's Locker. It does take up some room, but everything we need still fits.

The joys of have 1 boy and 1 girl - someone gets the airbed on vacation!

DS swears he's fine without it. :confused3 I've moved "airbed" to the bottom of my necessities list for my OL, but sill, I think he should want it. Weird kid.

He deserves an airbed, even if he doesn't want to be any trouble (especially if he doesn't want to be any trouble). I vote for putting it back near the top of the list. (Go for the single size. Takes up less room.)

Oh, no, DS doesn't worry about being trouble. :rotfl: Really, he and I almost argued about it, when I told him all excitedly (because I'm overly excited about my Owner's Locker :)), and he made a face and said "I don't need it" and I kept trying to insist that he HAD to be uncomfortable on the floor. He says he's fine putting a blanket on the floor, like he's been doing. :confused3 I plan to get it anyway...good to have for sleepovers, instead of sleeping bags...and let him try it out at home. We'll take it from there.

So he's a normal teenage boy.
