Do you have to make reservations?

Since you are going during F&W and Free Dining has been extended through to sometime in 2015 I'd go online and make a few ADRs if you want to be guaranteed a TS meal each day. Some restaurants will take walk-ups and it really just depends on the time of year and how busy they are.

Thank you all again for your responses, esp. Kathy Z for the link for reservations--I'm going to try and see if anything is available right now. Does anyone know which table service restaurants throughout the parks/resorts are not on the Dining Plan and might have a little more access?

I think you only really need to make reservations for the sit down restaurants if you're happy enough to go with counter service no need right?

It was easy to make the reservations online! Thanks to all of you, I was able to make reservations somewhere every night at an early time to suit my 5 year old...and we can always cancel if we need to. Thank you again!:rotfl:

Glad you got sorted. Like you say you can easily cancel if your plans change.

Rainforest cafe and t rex are not on DDP. I know there are a few more at DTD aswell.

There is an option when searching for restaurants to check a box and it will then filter out the restaurants that are not on the DDP. See below.

Glad you got some ADRs set up, and you can continually tweak them. For restaurants on the DDP check HERE. There should be a link on that page that takes you to the WDW pdf brochure for the DDP.

You can just search for a time (or a "meal period") in a particular area---it will show you everything available. Very handy, and that way you don't need to guess about which places to check for and which not.
