Do you have to buy all 6 of the Military Salute tickets at once?

Hi can someone tell me if you have to buy all 6 of the tickets at once? If we buy 4 here in MD at our base and then decide to buy 2 more at Disney in Aug. can we do that???? I know we can only get 6 max per year right?

No. You can buy them where ever. When you get to the park that is where they will activate them, up to 6 per Mil ID

I'm pretty sure they are cheaper on base though...not my a lot but they are cheaper

Nope. You are able to book 6 total per service member throughout the promotion. You can use more than one per person or dole them out to six different people. You just can't have more than one active per person at a given time. I have even used all six of ours without my husband (the service member) present.

this is not exactly true.. it is six per sponsor/servicemember (total.) the SM can buy all six but a spouse can only buy 5. the kids cannot buy any.

so not all Mil IDs can be used to purchase tickets and only six per the social security number of the Sponsor are allowed per year of the program.

the six can be purchased in any configuration in that year

You don't have to buy all six tickets at once. A few ppl posted here within this offer period that they were advised by their home military base that if they bought less than the entire 6 tickets at one time from the home base, they weren't allowed to purchase the remaining tickets from the home base. I don't know what this was all about, but you can buy the remainder of your tickets at WDW. So, no worries.
