Yesterday my DD7 had a friend over and I called her by her nickname:eek: I guess I am already starting to embarass her:o

My nicknnames for my kids are:

DD7 = Scooter Pie or Liverdoodles (this one embarassed her)

DD4 = MOO (now you know where my user name comes from)

DD2 = Bubbieluv or Stinkdrawers (I guess I probably shouldn't use stinkdrawers when he starts to bring girls
home for us to meet;) )

So what do you call your kids?

Kerry is Ker-Bear

Erin is Erin Bo Berin

Brianna is Bee, bee-bee, Bri, Bri-bri

I also call them all kidlets, kidlings, sweetie-peas, bratlings

When my DS was younger he had a problem pronouncing “R” which made his name sound more like “Wobbie” when asked what his name was. He is now 11 and we still call him “Wobbie” as his nickname :D

Munchkin because she's so little and sweet. I don't call her this much anymore because she doesn't like it.

I call DD Little Butt cuz she always follows me. I also call her Boodie (see above) When she was little I called her Cookie Monster.

As groups, my DD and my friends sons are the Demons. My brothers kids are the Monsters. My BIL girls are the Brats (affectionately) and my SIL kids are the Heathen.

Oldest is Love - he is at the age where he hates it too. I've been calling him that since he was a baby and its hard to make myself stop, but I am trying.

My little one has always been Boo. In time, he'll hate that too, but for now see seems oblivious to it. :p

DD has two nicknames - I call her Peeper and her dad calls her Peaches.

We both call DS Mikhail

DS is Buddy, although when we get him up in the morning, I always say "Good Morning, Sugar Bear!" I say it so much my DD says the same thing when she goes in his room :)

DD never had a nickname...hmmm...wonder why?

I call my DS Bubba. I don't know why, it's just what came to me one day. :teeth: Ever since the hospital.

I usually call her Lovey, but sometimes we call her Robinawitz. Once I called her Sweety in front of a friend and the look she gave me could have killed me. I won't make that mistake again!

Our daughter was always Bugs. We don't call her that much anymore because she's 20, but sometimes it slips out. Her response is a big smile and "you haven't called me that in such a long time."

I guess she still likes it. :D

DD5 is Punkin or Big Bit

DD2 is Munchkin or Little Bit

When DD2 was born, if I called DD5 (then 2) munchkin, she would say, "I am punkin, not munchkin!"

Only my youngest, I call him Peanut. My nonnie used to call me Peanut too (I was also the youngest)
I used to call him Love Muffin. He doesn't like that too much anymore, but sometimes I can tell he does.

One time when he was little we were at a soccer game and he has just kinda walking around. (It was a very small town and everybody knew everybody)
Well, one of our friends went up to him and said "Hi, what's your name?" (even tho he knew him ;) )

My son said XXXXX XXXXXXX love muffin XXXXXX

It was just the funniest thing! He actually thought it was part of his name! He still hasn't lived that one down! LOL

My DS10 is known as widget, or widge. Occasionally sweet-pea. He is more than happy to be called widge and, in fact, even writes it on cards to me and his Dad!

There was an advert on tv when he was small for John Smith beer in a can. It had a little gadget which made the beer froth and taste like draught beer. Its song went along the lines of "widget, it has a widget ...... etc." DS used to smile every time it came on and he became known as our little widget!

We call Julia: Jules, Jule, J, JJ, Face, Angel Face, Sweetface, munch(kin)

We call Matthew: Matt, Matty, Butter, Matty Matts or when he's being very "2": THE BEAST.;)

That really made me laugh and reminded me when my son was about 4 - his name is Benjamin but he has always been called Ben (only Benjamin when I'm cross!). His middle name is James. When a friend at Nursery asked him whether he had names other than Ben he said he had two. I corrected him and said no, you just have one. "No Mum, I'm Ben Jamin James ........"! We still tease him about it now!
