Do you have "good" hair ?

I have always LOVED my hair!! I am 52 and have never colored my hair. I have lots of naturals highlights and when I meet new friends or twice when I have gone to a new hair stylist they actually think that it has been colored!

In 2011, I had to go through chemo and it was so tough to lose my hair. It took a longggg time to grown back in, and I didn't have a trim for over two years after I finished chemo, BUT, I am so thankful, that now, except for being a bit darker, its better than before!

Having a great hair day today, lol!
Spent a couple hours at the salon this morning getting the roots touched up, low lights added. A nice trim and blow out, then straightened. Had my brows waxed and all is good!
Going for my nails tomorrow morning....then catching a flight to Las Vegas!!

No. :( It's thin and dry now. Once it started getting more grey, the hair also changed texture and it's weirdly wiry. Maybe I need to find a stylist. I've never liked my hair, and I like it less and less as I age and it ages with me.

I did. I had princess/mermaid hair. I didn’t appreciate it when I had it
After I got pregnant, but especially after I gave birth, it severely darkened, broke, and started to fall out. I look nothing like the picture now and my hair will never look like that again. View attachment 458510

even if you only looked like that for a minute, you have achieved sex symbol status on the DIS, and so it be as long as thier is a interweb on spaceship earth, you are to be honored :worship:

Never had good hair and always joked that if there was a NEXT life, that I wanted fabulous hair (although I wonder what feature I'd have to sacrifice to get it :) ).

I spend a LOT of time making my bad hair LOOK like good hair and that's the part I hate. I just want to have great hair, out the door. All my life, I've had a lot of hair (fortunately) but it is baby fine and hard to hold in a style of any sort. If I let it go, it just hangs down lank. It's not straight, and it's not curly. It's just got troublesome "bends" in it. When I was a kid and had it long, it was the kind of hair that tangled upon itself. I clearly remember having to go to the hairdresser to have an knot cut out on the underside of my hair. My mother then had me get the famous pixie cut (which was not a good thing for a little girl in the 60s).

I'm 55 now and I've still got the same hair. Fortunately it is not yet thinning. But I spend an inordinate amount of time getting it highlighted (for texture so it's not so slippery), and mousse-ing, volumizing, and spraying to it will just stay put.

I actually do get a lot of compliments on my hair but I *work* for the hair. It owns me.

When I go to Disney and it's hot and I just want to "let go" I can't. Well, I do, but the pictures are horrible.

Lmao! Thanks low-key. You’re sweet and now my life is complete...DIS sex symbol 😂
That picture is about 5 years old. I tried to find the picture that I have of the back of my hair and where I was a bit more covered up, but I couldn’t find that specific one.

I do now.

when I was growing up my hair was white blonde and very fine. After I had my daughter, it became super thick and had a nice wave to it. It also has a ton of natural highlights.

Whenever I go to the hairdresser, everyone loves to come over and play with my hair lol
I’ve also been told they might use me in a classroom to show how to deal with my unique hair.

I have great hair. It’s thick, curly, tons of it...

I also have terrible hair. It’s thick, curly, tons of it...

I used to. But as I've aged and my hormones have changed, so has my hair :) It has thinned out a lot over the years. What makes it really annoying is that my hair is like two different heads of hair on either side of my head. My stylist has to cut it differently on each side to make it look the same.
