We now have 3...we got the 3rd the "easy" way. (My DDIL ) Actually, it seems easy now, but I can tell you the first 4 months they were married were very hard on me....I missed him so much! (He'd lived here until the wedding.)

I do have 7 nephews and 5 nieces. 2 of the nieces live in NY and I spend a lot of time with them. More than one person has called me their "second mother". But I don't get to do the day to day hard stuff with them, so I don't think I am. But here and there I am a "super aunt." I've taken care of them by myself for 6 days (on 2 separate occasions) when their parents were out of town. And there have been many many times when I've taken care of them for 10-12 hours at a time.
