Going anywhere exciting? Are you going to Disney, overseas or a short trip somewhere? We have nothing planned here.

Well I didn't have anything planned as DH is going to his niece's wedding in Hawaii and I am not going as the airfare is $1000 from here..

but
My Aunt just called and My cousin's son is getting married on 3/13 in LA.. so I will just have to go:cool1: and then I can spend some time at DL too... :thumbsup2 WOW what a surprise.. great way to start the year..:)

DH and I are renting a cabin in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area for a week at the end of March, with his sister and her DH. Can't wait!! We'll be gone 10-12 days total, doing some other sightseeing on our way back home.

DH and I rented a cabin 3 years ago in the same area and had a wonderful time. The cabin was beautiful, the mountains were awesome. There are a few things we're looking forward to doing again, and some restaurants we're looking forward to going to again, but we also want to do some things we missed last time because we simply ran out of time.

That will be our only "big trip" for this year, but we'll spend as much time as possible at our property up north from the end of April until the end of September too.

Then I'm hoping to talk DH into planning a WDW trip for January 2011, it'll be 10 years since we've been there together so it would be great to go back!! :)

Yes....leaving tomorrow for a BFF birthday trip to Victoria, BC for 4 days.
March is AZ for 10 days to visit the kids
April is 5 days at DLR
June is 6 days at DLR
Sept is DCL for 2 weeks
Oct is 5 days at DLR

Unless the house sells there will be 2 more trips to AZ .
And maybe a trip to Las Vegas in there somewhere.

I have a few coming up. :yay:

May - Myrtle Beach (me and my girlfriend/co-worker)

Aug/Sept - A 4 day cruise on the Wonder and then 3 days at WDW (me, my dd, dgd and dgs)

September - back to Myrtle Beach (me and a few girlfriends/co-workers)

November - a cruise on the Oasis of the Seas (me and my dh for our 40th anniversary)

March- Dallas
April- DLR
June- Boston and maybe New Orleans
July- WDW
September- DLR for D23 if it falls in september again
November- New York City

We do, I'm very excited to say :thumbsup2. In about 10 weeks we leave for a 10-day excursion to the Galapagos with National Geographic!!!

We've been saving for this trip and have put my DH's bonuses in the special Galapagos Fund for the last 3 years to pay for it. My DDs are just as excited. My youngest can't wait to see the Blue-Footed ****ies, Penguins & Frigate Birds - we've been warning her that she can't go up to them and touch them, so that's going to be the challenge.

This is the trip of a lifetime for us and since it's a big birthday for me and I wanted to either go on this trip or Spain for my birthday - my DH decided that we'd go in 2010. This will be unlike any other trip we've taken as a family being both educational and adventurous. Unfortunately, we couldn't add a side trip to Machu Pichu because my eldest DD gets bad altitude sickness and she wouldn't enjoy it since we would only be there for 3 days and that's how long it takes her to recover :( Everytime we go to Colorado we have to take her being sick for a day or so - even if with medicine!

The only small trip we may take is going down to see my Dad in Florida (N.Redington Beach) and sneak to Universal to see the Harry Potter land - but that's not going to be until November.

We won't be going to WDW for a couple of years when my eldest DD dances there again in 2012 (they go every 4 years).

We were going to go to the Rocking Horse Ranch (in Highland, NY), for a few nights, but my DD just got engaged. So we have decided that since we are going to try and help out with the wedding (which luckily isn't going to be until August 2012) we would rather save our money. The ranch was going to be about $1,000 per night for 6 of us. We were going to try to do it, but we sat down as a family and everyone agreed that its just not in the cards for us right now.

The only thing we might be doing this summer is taking my DS to look at some colleges. He is a jr. in high school now. The one he is most intersted in is 8 hours away, so that will be an interesting road trip and we will look at other colleges along the way.

My husband and I will be celebrating our 10th anniversary in September. I'm hoping we will take a trip - just the two of us - but we'll see what happens. We never had a honeymoon, so I'm really hoping we can take a trip this year.

We have a trip to WDW tentatively scheduled from 8/28-9/6. Tentatively because I'm not certain of what our financial situation will be then, and also because I am starting a new job this week, so it will depend on if I can get the time off then.:thumbsup2

We've always got something coming or going. The next trip is a college go-see, Valdosta State(GA) in February.

Then for spring break we're going to haul the camper down to Savannah and stay at Skidaway Island SP. Hopefully, Christian will be able to stay in respite that week--ya'll cross your fingers! If he is it will really open up our possibilities. It's really hard to take him into historic buildings, museums and such.

And then *I* have a big camping trip planned this summer for me and my three sisters. We do some kind of trip every year or so, with at least 2 of us. We call it the Crazy Woman Tour.:rotfl2: Bring your meds and leave your kids behind.

ANd the last already planned trip will be sometime in July. We need to do a go-see at Berea College(KY). We'll go up from ATlanta to Nashville to see family a couple days, then on to Berea for a few days, then back to Atlanta. Probably about a 7-10 day trip. Christian will be with us so we probably can't do any of the Mammoth Cave tours. Not accessible enough. :guilty: But he'll enjoy swimming in the pool at the campground and at least he won't complain about being dragged around to see colleges.:rotfl2:

Oh, wait - I have to go to Virginia the beginning of April for a custody hearing. :sad2: Does that count???

And I will be going back to Virginia in September to shoot my attorney's wedding. I am looking forward to that.

March - Day trip to NYC to see the Tim Burton exhibit at MOMA

April - Charleston, SC for my best friend's wedding

Sometime in the summer - my Mom is planning a family trip that I don't think will ever happen

September - WDW!

January - WDW! Again!

We have a trip to Vegas in August for our First Anniversary on the back burner. We are both really itching to get back to Vegas, so we hope it works out!

Two trips to Disney!!! One at the end of this month and one in June!! :thumbsup2

We are going on a cruise in April. We will fly into West Palm Beach and spend a day exploring the area and then set sail the next day. We also have a day to explore at the end of the cruise. This will be my and DHs second cruise, my DD's first. Usually we go to WDW every year but thought we would try something different for a change. I am definitely looking forward to basking in some sunshine!

April is our wedding, then we leave for our honeymoon at Sandals in Jamaica (can't wait!!!)

And our honeymoon part 2 (other wise known as the Disneymoon!) is in September... just booked it today!

2010 is looking much better for us than 2009 was, gotta say.

Yep! We start planning about a year in advance for most of our trips:

mid June-late birthday trip for DSs-2 nights at NickHotel, 2 nights at US/IOA-Royal Pacific

mid-July-8 days at our mountain house in Montana-flying in to meet DH there as he will have driven there in June to work on it.

August 20-29 WDW at CBR w/free dining from a Bounce back package.

Thanksgiving-drive to Detroit for Thanksgiving with DH's family

This is really going to make our summer blow by. We only live 20 minutes from the beach, we should just spend our summer there!

DH and I :hug:have a week planed at WDW in May- June 2010...... :cheer2:We are going to be staying at the Grand Floridian!!!! :dance3::woohoo:

My little brother is performing in Disney with his marching band in February so my mom and I just have to go and make sure he isn't getting into any trouble...:rolleyes1 We're just doing a long weekend because I can't miss too much school and work, but it will be a nice break from this freezing cold weather we're having up here. That is if it warms up down there sometime soon.
