Do you have any talents? If so, can you make money using it?

My answer would be: no talents.

I like to knit and have sold scarves at craft fairs for $10 each. My husband profits more from his talent. He directs a men's chorus and they pay him a small monthly salary. He also sings with a men's quartet. They can earn pretty good money doing parties and other events. A few weeks ago, they sang at a country club party and made $600! They usually put their money in an account that helps them pay for uniforms, music and travel fees for contests. They don't usually split the money for personal profit unless they have a lot of extra.

I can actually make pretty cool cakes. I haven't made any for money but I have been told I should, just don't have the time.

I can knit, and make balloon animals. I also make mean chocolate covered strawberries and catnip toys (for cats)
I guess I could become a busker, or start one heck of a weird boutique. :confused3

I do have a hidden talent... and I could lots make money using it.

But Im a good catholic lassie and my mum would not approve !! ;)

I have made extra money doing the following: singing (bars, songwriters demos, weddings, etc. I'm now a volunteer worship leader) baking cakes (just did a wedding last weekend, and have a birthday cake booking coming up) sewing outfits and baby things, knitting scarves and hats, doing scrapbooking for friends even doing personal shopping and wrapping for some working friends (took a 10% commision).

Wow, I guess I'm not lazy after all, I'm just missing the housekeeping gene.

I'm a fairly talented musician I guess, but I only made money off of it once. I was in 6th grade, and I used to meet a group of kids in front of our old elementary school and we would walk to the JHS together (about a mile away). So one morning, we were waiting for a couple other people, and one of my friends decided she wanted to hear my play the flute. We had nothing else to do, it was early in the morning, we had plenty of time, so I opened up my flute, and played a little tune. Somebody walked past and threw a dollar into my flute case. My one and only time I got money off of it. Oh well, I still love playing music.

I have made extra money making costumes for local theater companies in New York. I would love to work for Disney and create costumes there, that would be a great job. I had the most fun wearing my "Redhead" costume from POTC during the Mickeys not so scary halloween party. Got alot of great compliments from people who worked there.

I can sing and play a few instruments that I have made money off of at weddings and the like.

A bunch of my friends say they would pay me to bake for them. I've never taken anyone up on that so I am not sure how true that is ;)

I can eat the toppings off of at LEAST 18 pieces of pizza:goodvibes

Seriously--no real talents that I can make $$ from. I love to make beaded jewelry, and it looks as nice as some I've seen in boutiques. It just takes me too long to make one.

I'm a really good juggler (knives, torches, etc...). Here in Mexico, it's not uncommon to see street performers at every light. So I've always figured that if we have a really bad month, I can just go out to a traffic light, and make a few extra bucks by juggling. Haven't done it yet, but I've been tempted quite a few times.

Writing.....though you wouldn't know it from here! LOL!

I am working on a project, now. I've had a couple of articles published and have been approached to write to more. So, you never know, it just may go somewhere.:)

Also, photography...I need new equipment though!

I like to make jewelry. I don't do it for any income, but I just did a wedding for a friend, and I have a wedding next year to do. I have friends to see what I am wearing and ask me to make things for them, which I do.

I play drums and guitar and play in a band off and on. We make a little money.
Also act in local training films/commercials.

I think I saw you! I still tell people how awesome your costume was to this day!

I made gift baskets for awhile. I like to think it took some talent to make them special.

I am a pianist and an organist, although I never studied for any type of degree of music. I used to give piano lessons until the 3rd kid came along and I am also an organist at our rural church. I also play for weddings and funerals and that all goes into my Disney fund. :)
