I have two

One is just n the corner of my eye, Its barley noticeable but I like it, I think it makes me look cool, when I was in High School was playing basketball on outside courts, and they had some broken bottles on it, we kicked off best we could, I slipped in glass went into my skin by my eye

The other when I was in my 30,s my Appendices burst, and they took out and had to leave open for poison to drain out its on my stomach, very ugly, I hate it

My oldest one is above my right eye. My uncle (only about 12 at the time, I was about two) was roughhousing with me. I fell off the couch and cracked my head on the coffee table. My youngest DD has one exactly like it in the exact same place from roughhousing with her brother and cracking it on the edge of her bunk bed.

Middle of my spine where I was stabbed.

Three tiny scars from when I had my gallbladder out.

C-Section Scar

The older I get, the thinner my skin gets and so things like cuts, playing with my dog, banging my arm/hand on something tend to leave little white scars where before they’d eventually heal up.

I have a scar on my forehead from whacking against a glass table when I was a toddler (glass + toddler = bad idea), one on my knee from tripping and falling at work when I was in college, lastly I have scars from my lumpectomy for breast cancer.

On a more serious note...of course! My lower back from my two spine surgeries, two on my abdomen from my hysterectomy, one on my left side from a minor surgery to remove a lipoma, one on my right knee from where I jumped out of a tree fort as a kid and split my knee open on a rock, one small one on my pinky from getting my finger slammed in a car door.

small one over my eyebrow from falling on a brick wall as a child
4 small ones from hernia repairs
one large on from a hysterectomy

I have one small stitches scar under my chin from falling on steps at age 3. 2 out of my 3 kids also got stitches under their chins after falling. DS did it twice!

One from my C-section, one from my hysterectomy, a couple small ones from laproscopic gastric bypass, a couple more small ones from laparoscopic gallbladder removal and one small one on my knee from falling down on an escalator at LAX when I was younger....OMG that hurt so bad and it was so gross. I'm pretty sure I should've had stitches but my parents didn't take me in.

Sometimes I feel like I have more scars than skin. It ain't pretty!

A billion scars on my legs from a younger life filled with skateboarding and roller hockey. One on my upper lip where I had a mole removed. And a jagged one on the top of my left hand when I tripped down the steps holding a glass and cut my hand when it shattered. Amazingly enough, after multiple stitches, there was no tendon or nerve damage.

Huge one upper back to lower spine for back surgery
left and right neck for thyroid cancer
Left breast tumor
Ribs and collarbone for skin graft
stomach for hernia repair and bowel resection
...and this past week my run in with the dishwasher corner. The stitches come out next week so we shall see. The er dr. Already told me it's a mess.

I was a clumsy kid and have a bunch of small ones on my arms and legs that I have no specific memory of getting. Others are:

Stitches under my lower lip. I was around 3/4. It was Thanksgiving. I was seated at the kid table and wanted to get up, but my chair was pushed close to the table and I was stuck. I called for my mom but she couldn’t hear me as it was loud—big extended family and tv was on and so I fell trying to wrench myself free and hit my face on a glass end table. Lots of blood. I was taken to the hospital and my parents and I missed dessert.

Stitches under my right eyebrow. Fainted at the courthouse while waiting for an arbitration hearing to begin—I was working for one of the insurance companies involved. Hit the door frame on the way down. Went to ER by ambulance.

Appendectomy when I was 27.

Scar on my upper back from having a mole removed.

Various chicken pox scars from scratching.

Circular scar on my right wrist from scraping it on the textured wall in the lazy river at Typhoon Lagoon. It didn’t seem to heal well. It was early in our trip and I thought I would go get it checked when I got home, but by then it seemed better. I still have a scar though.

I said I was a clumsy kid—after typing all this I realize I didn’t really outgrow the clumsiness.

Leg - horse
Head - trailer hitch
Finger - knife
Arm - motorcycle
Arm - construction
Other arm - bottle rocket
Face - sunburn

Two on two of my left hand fingers from getting slashed open on a broken bottle when I was 8ish... invisible unless I press on the fingers.
Bunch on my belly from various surgeries, mostly faded.
Nasty scar on my right foot where I broke it and had surgery to repair it.
