While in the car with the family yesterday, I was looking at my hands and noticed lots of little scars I had accumulated over the years. I mentioned that "this scar is from Disney World when I put the pack back on and scraped my hand with the buckle." I can remember exactly where we were in Fantasy Land. DS said, "You should post that on the DIS and see if anyone else has scars."

So, here it is. Do you have any souvenier scars?

I don't... but DD does!

While watching the monkeys in the ruin islands in Asia at Animal Kingdom, she bent her knee and stuck it through the slatted fence we were standing next too. When we made ready to leave that area... she apparently straightened her leg (or bent it more) and so it became stuck. She panicked and pulled it out... causing a great big scrape and bruise on her knee. She has a scar where the cut from the fencing occurred.

I don't but my DH does. We were having ice cream sandwiches at Sleepy Hollow in MK. I asked him to get me a glass of water bc I was sooooo thirsty. In his hurry, he scraped his knee on the short wall and got himself a nice big scrape. He even left skin and hair on the wall! :p

My dd has a scar on her cheek from WDW. We were coming out of Prime Time Cafe and she climbed up and then fell off a retaining wall, hitting her face on a corner. We had a surgeon look at it and he said he could try and make it a little smaller, but it will always be there. I noticed it gets really red and sore looking in the cold, and when she's sweating heavily. Otherwise we don't even notice it anymore. It's a part of her and a permanent Disney souvenir! ;)

No, not yet anyway. Interesting stories :)

While walking around world showcase in Epcot a few years ago I just couldn't resist the roasted nuts near "America." somewhere around "France" I broke a tooth...ouch! Ended up with a root canal a year later, and am still trying to get a crown on it...I got pregnant in between procedures. Should be going in 2 weeks.

Gee, its been 4 years since I've been to WDW but I still have my little souveniere!

That is so weird! WDW is the only place I've never had souvenir scars from! Interesting. Maybe I'm too happy to be as clumsy there than I am at other places.

I didn't get a scar from this but when I was a little girl we were walking through Frontierland and I was running my hand along the log fence and picked up a huge splinter. At least it was huge in my mind. We had to go the a first aid station and the CM got it out. All I remember is it hurt!!! I don't know if anything special happened after that or not.

Plus, I was just visiting with my Gma last night....she used to take my cousin and I to Disney every year....and both she AND my Great Gma have fallen on slippery, wet spots in Tomorrowland....and 10 years apart too. I guess I'd better be careful not to follow in their footsteps!!
