We have a black standard poodle, a white toy poodle and soon we will have a flock of 16 pink flamingos. The flamingos will be low maintainance though, they don't eat.

Sadly just put down 18 year old cat but have remaining 9 year old cat, now obese, and beautiful Siberian Husky, Czarina Chinook Kashmir, best dog ever.

Well, I have a 1 year old Jack Russell Terrier named Monty Dog.

Ferrets - Mojo, Bandette, Apollo, Romana, Bartok, Bela, Xavier
Iguanas - Wipeout & Megalon
Cats - Jinxie & Manny
Assorted tropical fish/amphibians
Assorted small reptiles
German Shepard mix - Sheba
Bunny -Rhyoki
Bunnies - Georgia and Thumper
Rats - Fidget & Barbarella
Parakeet - Nicky
Canary - Ringo
Sugar Glider - Gizmo
Hedgehogs - Sonic & Hodge Podge
Pigeon - Horus
Oliver - Squirrel


I think that's all. I also go horseback riding but can not now, nor will I likely ever be able to afford my own horse.

We would have had more small livestock type animals when I was growing up but zoning laws...

All the above are now in Pet Heaven (except maybe Bandette the ferret who was demonic and went to the "other" pet afterlife )
except Romana, Bela, Bartok , Xavier and Manny.

Romana, Bela, Bartok & Xavier I was forced to give up when my exH made me move with him somewhere that would not allow them. They were young and I presume they are still alive and well in the homes they went to. (I kicked and screamed and he was that much a jerk that my happiness was not worth living in a slightly less impressive apartment ).

Manny was a "foster" cat. He now lives with a permanent home.

Most of the others , with the exception of freak illness lived out their lives in happiness till they died of old age.

We have a kitten named Simba.

A chunky little siamese/himalayan mix kitty named Samantha. She was a stray along with her 3 kitten siblings and mother that my brother found about 7 years ago. Someone had dumped them in the cold rain in October near some woods. My brother took them home, had them checked by a vet and found good homes for all of them. My dh picked out Sammie. She is our little fur baby. I have also had 2 other kitties in my life, Ginger and Luci. Both lived long lives and gave me a lot of joy. Miss them both.

my parents are both allergic to fur, and I'm not a big fish person...but my bestest friend has 2 cats and soon a dog, so I see them alot, but I never have to care for them...that's a pretty good deal!!
