college or university you wanna go to?
I personally have wanted to go to the Universit of MD since 4th grade. I also was thinking of George Mason, Penn State, Notre Dame (the one in MD). howa bout you?

I am definitely applying to Denison (OH), Centre (KY), Washington&Jefferson(PA), Dickinson (PA), Hobart William Smith (NY), St. Lawrence (NY)

And possibly UVM and some unversity in CT I don't remember.

I'm a senior so I have been thinking about this a lot and I have actually started to fill out applications.

The size of the school was very important to me because I go to a very small high school and did not want a big school.

I know I wanna go to a school with a good psychology department(since I wanna be a psychologist!) and kinda close to home

I have no clue where I wanna go! My best friend and i want to go to Columbia University, but that probably won't happen.

I was getting stuff in the mail already last year as a freshman, since I've already taken the PSAT!

Well, if I could go to ANY college that I wanted I'd probably go to Georgetown in DC or Princeton in NJ. My friend's going to Princeton this year and I'm going to miss her so much but the school seems pretty cool. But the college that I'm actually going to go to (when I get around to applying ) is the University of Florida. At least I hope that's where I'll be going! But I just found out that my GPA went up after last year so I should be able to get in. And plus, since I live in Florida it's mostly free for me to go. And UF is one of the best Public State schools in the U.S.! Yay!

I am looking at right now (which changes often): Boston University, Northeastern, or New York University on the east coast...and if I stay here in CA I would like to go to UC Berkeley or Pepperdine.

I keep getting mail from Grinnell...I dunno if I could handle going to Iowa but it looks like a nice school, too...lol

Up till recently, I've thought that location was a key factor.

Yay, Carrie, come to school with me! I also got into BU.. they offered a half scholarship but I liked NYU better.. I did get a merit scholarship at NYU so that was nice but I just liked it in general. I love the city, and I wanted a big, diverse school because I was so sick of my 32-member graduating class, ick. There are so many resources that will be available to me in the city, lots of good internships and job experience and all of that. I only have one more day left at home before I leave for school.. so scary.

I applied to NYU, Barnard, Harvard, Penn, Columbia, Tufts, BC, and BU. Got rejected from the 3 Ivys plus Tufts.. grr, I was pretty pissed, I liked Tufts especially and I know I had a good GPA and extracurriculars and SATs and all that. Oh well, what can you do. But I probably would have gone to NYU anyway, no matter where I had gotten in - I just fell in love with it.

So that was my long college rambling.

I want to go to UC Davis because they have a good veterinarian school there, but i was also looking at schools in Texas and Montana. I want to stay in CA though... ehhh i still dont know what im gonna do.

well.....the way things work here is you go to the army and then you go to university (most ppl take a break for a ocuple of months in between and go on a hike overseas). im planning on taking a LOOOOONG break after the army....lol.......hopefully (please god! ) performing in WDW or the dcl. then ill try to get a record deal and auditions in NY......rolleyes: many ppl have said this b4 me, and so few have succeded, but i still think i have a chance...lol).
if i go to university, i guess id go to one in israel (theyre on thge level of the ivys in the states) and i have the grades to get into basicly anything i want.......but i dont want to learn anything. bossibly the only school i can see myself going to is yale drama. but hopefully i wont have to think about it....

This is where I want to go,

It's a really lovely university, with a great music department. The location's soooo good too, it's far enough from London that I'll need to leave home, but close enough for me to visit on weekends.
