It's something that we have to look into with more details though.

That's interesting. I guess it has to do with laws being different in every state. We have my DB and SIL named as guardian of DD. Both our families know the arrangement so there won't be any surprises if the unfortunate were to happen.

I also don't want to be too morbid here but those that don't have a will or any arrangements for their children just think back to
9-11. Many children kissed their mommies and daddies goodbye that morning and never saw them again. Sadly, tragedy can and does stike with no warning.
