Do you have a Trash bag in your Car?

No, don't need one. I never have anything in there that would need thrown out. I like my interior spotless.

Same here. Now my outside…..thats a different story. But inside the most I might have is a glass of water. But food? No. I guess anything else, receipts etc….come with me when I get out of the car.

I've never kept garbage in my car. :confused3 When we get out, it gets thrown out.

I always keep a paper cup, with cover, from a fast food place in one of the cup holders between the front seats. It doesn't hold big things but I can push small things down through the straw slit.

isn't that what the back seat is for?

Thank you! Who are these people? I'm glad I'm not the only one who can admit that people throw garbage on the floor in the back seat and once a week or so I clear it all out at a garbage can at the gas station.

It's generally a very little amount, So out the window it goes. No fuss, No Muss.

DH did that for a long time & never cleaned up. It got me insane so when I won a bucket of promotional crap at the bar, I left the empty bucket there to use for trash.

You must have neater kids than I do! :rotfl: I'm pretty good at bringing my own stuff in. Everyone else in the family? Not so much.

So yes, we have a trash bag. It has helped a lot.

Oh no, if they had a choice, garbage would be left in the car. But they don't have a choice. ;)

I keep grocery store bags and paper towels in the pocket on my door. When we have trash, everything goes there and goes in the house with us if it's food trash. If it's not food trash and not near trash pickup day, I will leave it in and stop off at the car wash & get rid of it later but I have a mini van and usually stick it in the very back. The kids have organizers on the backs of the seats in front of them and will sometimes stick straw papers or small packaging from toys, in there. I usually make sure everything's out of there except the little things that belong whenever we go to the car wash.

I do have a Target bag in my car on the front floor. Then when it gets full, I just take it out and get a new one.

They are THE DIS! :worship::worship::snooty::snooty::snooty:

This is us too. We have a bag sitting in the passenger side. Really doesn't take up much room.

Need it for the kids gum they don't want anymore , Kleenex etc. Wet garbage like drink cups etc. go straight into a garbage once we stop. Usually can use the same bag over and over if it is just paper or Kleenex.

absolutely !

I drive a minivan....with 3 kids

I do have a dry good only policy and the kids are no longer allowed to bring drinks in the car at all.

I drive a town and country, the driver and front passenger seats have arm rest on the inner side,

sling one "handle" of a grocery bag over each arm rest, slide it all the way into the arm rest where the "joint" is, then it hangs open.

Not in my truck, but DW keeps a small trash can (actually a plastic gallon ice cream bucket) lined with a plastic grocery bag in between the center row of seats in her Acadia. The kids fill it pretty quickly :rotfl:

I don't always, but sometimes when I remember to put a new one in there, I'll put a plastic grocery bag in the front passenger seat. I don't ever have that much trash, it's usually just empty gum wrappers so I'll clean them up every week or so. If I have the plastic bag in there, I'll wait until it's full and toss it. Fast food wrappers and that sort of thing get thrown out whenever I get to my destination, or wherever I stop first.

I have a trash bag in my car so I don't have used Kleenex, gas receipts, food receipts and parking lot tickets blowing all over the car. I generate trash in my car, so I have a place for it.

Sort of like about 15 years ago when Mercedes discovered they could actually calculate how many sales they were losing in the U.S.because their cars had no cupholders. In German, you want coffee, you stop, go into the coffee shop, sit and drink it, then go back to your car to driver. The new head of Mercedes was horrified that he would go in the history books who put something in a Mercedes that is unthinkable in Germany, a cupholder.

I do. It's a small black plastic shopping bag with "handles" made of the same black plastic. I have one of the handles looped over the passenger side armrest (the armrest in the middle - not that's part of the door). So the the bag is secured in place and mostly upright. The bag part is actually in the backseat floorboard. Its handle just rests against/within the armrest "joint".

That's kind of hard to explain. You can't really see it from the front seat, and can't really see the handle of the bag, either, unless you are sitting in back. But it's easy to access from the driver's seat when I reach back there with my right arm.

Not that it makes any difference, but the car is a Saturn Vue with dark grey leather interior. The black bag just blends in.

I just read about a similar thing with Porsche, except, it was the head of Porsche North America, trying to explain to the German engineers why they needed to make the cup holders bigger!

And the cup holders are kind of crappy.

We have MINI Coopers, which are British. A common "trash bag" would never do.
