and if so do you use it?

I have a really nice one. I have used it once. It sits in my garage and has been there for 3 years

I would like to bring it in and start using it but Im just not sure I would get any good out of it.

So tell me, do you love yours? Do you use it? Or is it something you wish you had never bought?
Thanks :)

Ours was a gift 15 years ago from MIL and I can count on one hand when we have used it. If it wasn't from her I am sure it would have been gone long ago.

I use mine all the time. I pitched out the toaster, and use the toaster oven. I wish it were a little bigger.

I must be in the minority. We use ours 2-3 times a week.
Its nice to be able to use it instead of the big oven.

I use mine all the time, but I'm single. I rarely use my oven though.

We have one and use it all the time - we don't have a seperate toaster. It mostly gets used for toasting things but I also make chicken fingers and fish sticks in it for DD so I don't have to turn the oven on. It's good for heating bread or rolls and DD has a new love of garlic bread so I make that for her in there as well. Toasted cheese and tomato sandwiches are also a good toaster oven food and don't forget the ever popular english muffin/bagel pizza.

I had one for a short time. I don't remember how many times I used it. One day I came home from getting groceries and I smelled something burning. I walked all over the house looking for the smell. It was the toaster oven, it was OFF, but it was on! It turned on by itself and it had to be on the highest level it could go, really weird. I had not used it in a week when it happened and all the knobs were turned off. Taught me to unplug my appliances, but it still went out with the garbage! I'm sure most toaster ovens are fine, mine was possessed!

Someone in the house uses ours daily. I hate it, though. It's about 2 years old, but the prior one worked better. This one toasts VERY unevenly. It is kind of a joke, I take stuff out midway and flip it around (not over). No one else does this, only me, they just eat burnt stuff, I won't.

It is a Black and Decker, the stainless one, which cost more than the others. What a joke.

I use mine all the time too. Got rid of the toaster. We use it almost every morning for breakfast (frozen waffles, bagels etc.) I also use it to make baked sandwiches and reheating somethings too. I've got a nice stainless steel one that looks good on my counter and matches my other appliances.

why does that NOT surprise me??? LOL

Thanks everyone. Im thinking Ill go and dig mine out I dont like to use the oven when its 106 ( odd me, I know)

Ours gets used constantly! Multiple times a day. Someone is forever making garlic bread, heating up a piece of left over pizza, toasting something, great for fish sticks, the little frozen burrito things my son likes, waffles etc... It doesn't sog things out the way the microwave does and so often, the item we want to heat is just too small to warrant turning on the big oven. DH even cooks small roasts in it. Works great.

Add me to those who love their toaster oven! I use it for toasting, for baking dinner rolls, reheating pizza or whatever else. Like others said, it's great for baking something small just for the kids, without turning on the big oven. I'd say I use it at least 5 times per week, if not more.

I love mine as well. We use it daily, sometimes multiple times a day. We do not have a toaster anymore. We toast in it, waffles, bagels etc.. I bake the boneless/skinless chicken breast in it, sometimes we make French fries in it. Its great for heating stuff up that you want to remain crispy(Like how the microwave , sometimes things come out soggy or not crispy anymore. Its nice not to have to heat your whole kitchen up with the oven.

We use ours a lot for toast and waffles and some other stuff...

I have both a toaster oven and an upright slot toaster. We don’t use our toaster oven, but we do use the slot toaster.

My grandmother-in-law insisted on getting a different toaster oven than the one we registered for as our wedding gift. That would’ve been fine (she insisted that the Black & Decker one she bought was much better than the one we had registered for), except the stupid thing is really awful. It takes it like 15 minutes to cook a frozen waffle. I still can’t figure out why I haven’t thrown it away. I wish I had a better one, but since we don’t use it anyway, it seems like a waste of money.

My grandmother saw the Mickey Mouse slot toaster in a catalog and bought it for us as a surprise. It has been wonderful! Now we can have Eggo waffles without a 15 minute wait. LOL!

Every time our younger son comes home, he shakes his head because we don't have a toaster oven. He uses his every day - but then, he heats up small amounts of food - he likes his because he doesn't have to turn the big oven on. eh - we just use the toaster and use the big oven!

Yes, we use it everyday for toast. It makes great crunchy waffles, and it is good for reheating items without making it soggy.

Yep, and we use it frequently, for all the things already mentioned. Since we got it, I very rarely use the microwave for anything except popcorn.

We have one that we got when we got married in 2000. We use it probably almost everyday. We don't have a toaster, just a toaster oven. We use it to toast things, make cheese bread for dinner, warm up crispy-type food, etc.

We use ours several times a week; and we also don't own a regular toaster. My favorite thing in the toaster oven is cookies - we always have the Pillsbury roll in the fridge, I slice off enough for 6 cookies and DH and I can have a secret snack while the kids are sleeping.
