I've got three and I LOVE THEM. I have a small butterfly on my left ankle...I have a dragon fly on my stomach and I have a really cool one on my lower back that has mine and my kid's zodiac signs in it....

No I don't and I don't ever plan on it.

I don't have any tatoos and I never plan in getting any either.

I agree with JVL1018. I think some tats look good on a guy with great biceps, just not an arm full of them.

I have three

I got all 3 while in law school. A dolphin on my rear, a sun right above my bikini line (when I used to have one) on my abdomen, and an octupus on my back -- (I have no idea why I chose the octupus -- a visiting law professor from Hawaii and I went out one night and ended up getting matching tattoos)

I am the least likely person (now) to have a tattoo ... and I honestly wish I didn't have them. It's one of those things that my mother was actually right about. :headache:

Thank god noone actually sees the dolphin and the sun...I just have to be careful to make sure the other is covered -- which is impossible with a bathing suit.

Something to ponder: after working in criminal law for the past 12 years -- I now know that if I am ever murdered or convicted of a crime-- my body will be id'd by these tattoos. UGH!

I have the aquarius smbol on my left hip that I got my first year of college. I want to get a memorial tatoo for my dad (Celtic waves with a song lyric underneath) but I keep on cheaping out.

I have two. I was a teacher when I got them so one is on my right shoulder blade and the second is on the inside of my right leg about an inch above my ankle. I wanted them to be less noticable in the work place. Now I'm a librarian and I'm so glad I did them this way.

The one on my shoulder is a ying yang made of flames and waves (I'm a firm beliver in the principal of ying and yang I didn't just get it because it looked cool) and the one on my ankle is very simple and not hightly colored, a crescent moon with a shooting star going across it and three stars around it. I was an aerospace instructor for a while and I really love space related stuff.

I don't regret my tatoos. 1) I choose tats that meant something to me not just some random pretty body art. 2) I thought about where to put them so that I could be conservative if I needed 3) They were done professionally by artists who had experience and were neat, and safe and finally 4) I didn't do them as a young woman, I waited and got them when I was older and knew what I wanted and why I wanted them.

I know a lot of young, like Hey today's my 18th birthday let's get a tat, people who now regret what they choose. I think the people who thought about what they wanted and who got body art that had a meaning tend to regret it less. But I could be wrong.

I currently have one... a small bunch of flowers on my left shoulder blade. That one will be expanded eventually to include 2 hummingbirds(for the kids). Went with my 2 gfs for the first one and we'll be going tomorrow for the next one which will be a hibiscus flower with the chinese symbol for friends(all 3 will be getting it) on my right inner ankle. My DD(19) designed it for us.

I was 33 when we the got the first one and I don't regret it at all. If I don't want you to see it... you won't!

The DD got her's on her 18th b-day... a nautical star on her front left hip.

I've thought about it a lot over the years, but I'm pretty sure I won't be getting one now. I wanted a grapevine around my ankle, complete with purple grapes. I think I'm too cheap though. After all, that's money taken away from the WDW fund! :rotfl:

I don't, but I toy with the idea of getting one all the time.

Denae

Me too. I have no idea why, but the last few years I've been thinking about it. I'm too much of a scardey cat about pain though.

I have none and do not plan on getting any.
But this naughty angel has a tattoo that is cute!

I am so suprised to see how the voting is going. According to members on the DIS you either have a tattoo and love it or you don't have one and plan on never getting one. I love the diversity! :lmao:

I don't have one and never intend to get one.

I have one. It's a Grateful Dead bear on my lower back. It was a present from my mom on my 17th birthday. I had wanted one for years and she finally agreed to it. I want more.

I have wanted one since I was in college. When I reach my weight loss goal, it is going to be my reward to myself. Something to shoot for! I want it on my right shoulder balde but I don't know what.

I have been thinking about getting the words faith, hope, and love placed on the inside of my left wrist. Just thinking about it right now...

I have a big Sorcerer Mickey on my back. 2 weeks ago I got some hibiscus flowers going from my ankle to mid-calf. I love them both!!

I don't have one and don't plan on getting one. Just not my thing!

Sure do! I have a Scorpion climbing up the back of my neck onto my skull (working on incorporating that one down to my back across my shoulder blades). Also a dragonfly across my entire lower back with names and dates incorporated into it if you look closely.

I have many friends and family that are artists so mine are always original. My brother has full sleeves, both sisters are heavily inked (one has them on her wrists, behind her ears, lower back, pelvis, neck, shoulder blade, ankle).
