The other day somebody had a thread about a worker in a public job having an inappropriate tatoo. During the course of discussion, it seemed like many of the posters said that they had tatoos. So let's find out just how many Dissers do indeed have a tatoo

I don't have one, and honestly don't ever plan on getting one. My dad has two kind of neat tatoos though. He has one of the fighting little leprauchan (he's from Boston), and another of the indian on the horse with his head low, and holding a spear.

So do you have a tatoo, and if so, where is it (if you can say), and of what is it (if you can say)

I have a butterfly on my right ankle, and a dolphin on my.. well the left side of my chest area.

I have a tattoo on my lower back. it's tribal, and it has a heart in the middle.

I have 2.

I have 2 tiny hearts with flowers on either side on my left ankle. (got in 96)

I now have 2 hearts with my children's initials over my heart. (got 2 weeks ago)

Dh got his first tatoo 2 days later (he was supposed to get his first when I got my first, but he finally got brave enough). He got Superman's S with our children's initials on each side. It's on his right bicep.

Actually contemplating my third. Thinking of a tiny crab with pinscers open on the inside of my right wrist. It's my birth sign.

I dont have any. I'm too chicken. I would like to get two hearts with my kids name in each heart. I dont know if I can get up the nerve to get it done though.

For my 50th birthday I got my first tatoo. It is a dolphin just above my left breast. Can only be seen if I wear a very low cut top, which I almost never do. I am not sorry I got it, just wished it was a little higher up. Would get another one but I dont want to feel the pain again.

I do, on my left shoulder blade. It is a rose with a hidden mickey in the center of it. Got it in honor of my mom (who loved roses) almost exactly 10 years after she died.

I want another, just not 100% sure where I want it, but I have the design of it done up already.

I have 3. An Egyptian Eye of Horus on my right leg, the symbol from Duran Duran's New Moon on Monday video and a sun for Reach Up For the Sunrise on my left leg. I'm eagerly anticipating a fourth, a goth Tinkerbell. I just don't know where I want to put it.

I have a celtic cross-lower back, a shamrock-um I guess you would say pelvis area, a sparrow- inner ankle (which used to be a rose) and a lizard on my foot. I plan on getting more.

I have a tattoo. It is the Chinese character for "monkey"...my year. My husband and I got matching tattoos when we were 27. Anyway, it is on my left, outer ankle. I said other because I like my tattoo, I just wish I had really considered location and placed it on my inner ankle. I work as a speech pathologist in public schools. Some principals have a real problem with tattoos, so I spend a LOT of money every year covering the dang thing up with big band-aids.

I have often thought about getting another one...just in a less noticeable location!

Let me tell you, the one on my heart HURT so bad! I don't remember my ankle one hurting. Kind of felt like when you cut yourself shaving. The least painful area is the biceps.

I have 3 (and getting my 4th next weekend) On my left arm is a tribal line, and above that is the classic Mickey head ºoº. And on my right arm is an art deco fairie. My fourth one will be intertwining hearts about two inches below my collarbone.

I just got my first Tattoo on Sunday 3/11. I just turned 40 on 3/9, on Sunday I went out to Brunch with some close friends and we ended up at the Tattoo place. My sister and my good friend got one also. That is a Birthday Brunch I will never forget.
I love it. It is on my left ankle, it is a heart with a tribal design around it.

I have one on the outstid eof my calf, a cross w/ a heart and roses that says In Memory of Mom

the other is on my stomach just above my bikini line. When I had it done they were daisies, now they're more like sunflowers

My husband *says* he wants one, but I believe he just says that to see me roll my eyes. LOL
My brothers and SIL have enough for all of us. I think my SIL has 3, my older brother has 7 or 8 maybe, my little brother just has one.

I think a tattoo looks really great on a guy with great arms--like Nick Lachey-love his tats, other than than..not into it.

I have 2, got them on Spring Break 2 years in a row. Now if I could just get my DH to get one, but he refuses!
